Wow! Did you guys see the ingame items available? The Justice costume pieces look AWESOME! That jumppack is so much better than the one currently on CoV, too. I'm buying this the moment it comes available next week Friday!

oh yeah i saw that link. i thought you actually saw them in game.
you cant buy it online until october 7th, next friday. cricket said its due to extenuation circumstances beyond their control. walmart probably threw a fit because hardly anyone would buy it at the store if they could get it online so they delayed the online release a week to appease them.

Im waiting the week too. I have a question about the jump jet though, does anyone know what happens if you dont have a travel power? is it like super jump or more like hurdle? and about it complementing other travel powers, does it make you fly faster or something?
i know not many people actually have it yet, but i was just wondering.

2 of my 3 Walmarts still do not have it.
Has ANYONE seen this product at Walmart since it's release date on Friday? I've given up and will just wait the week.
Hey...the Walmart ONLINE site says they're Out of Stock on it. I wonder if it was ever *IN* stock.

I bring you more good news. The Good Versus Evil in-game items are now available for purchase through PlayNC.com!
Our ETA was the 6th...we got it up a day early
The in-game items cost 9.99. These are the same in-game items you can get through the Good Versus Evil combo box....but with this option you get just the in-game items for your existing COH, COV, or COH/COV accounts.
Once you go to PlayNC.com and click on the Store tab scroll down to the City of Heroes (or City of Villains) logo. Look for this link:
"Buy the game instantly (retail code online, download, no box)"
You won't find the in-games items next to the tees...it is in the section for online code purchases.
NOTE: Make sure you log out of the game completely (to your Windows desktop) before upgrading your account.
We are aware that many are still experiencing issues getting a copy of the Good Versus Evil combo from their local store. Please be sure to call your local store to check for availability. |

For me it was worth buying the box set, as i got it for £12 at hmv, which is £2 cheaper than buying the upgrade and a month of play seperately!
Also, its pretty weird its saturating stores in the Uk and is so hard to find in the US, that hardly ever happens!

I just got mine last night. The new costume pieces are very nice, the jump pack isnt bad, makes for a good booster to existing travel powers or to help one get out of the gulch if your running a low level and got stuck in the hollows. The Pocket D gold card is interesting, but yeah that animation is way too long for what it should be.

I wish I could buy them. I'm trying to resolve an issue with my credit card but the customer service is being of no help at all. -_-

No one was disilluioned by what they were getting. NCSoft was very clear about it. So no, I don't feel ripped off at all.

I'm gonna go with Ron on this one. Not the slightist feeling on being ripped off or anything. Heck, I only bought it for the costume pieces. Don't really care about the jumpjet, and I've only been to Pocket D a total of three times so the port card is....meh.

Yeh I knew what I was getting as well. Personally the jumpjet thing is crap, but the TP to PD is cool. The costumes I haven't even checked out yet, But no feeling of nbeing ripped off either.

I think it was a 10 bucks well spent. i have already used the jump pack on 3 of my lowbies navigate the Hollows with ease. still havnt looked at the costume pieces. And the tiki bar is cool looking.

Ya, the jump jet is crap unless you already have a travel power. It just makes your travel power better. Heh, like I can jump over a thousand yards with it on...
But I like the costume options, not a lot of them, but the justice set is cool enough for me to use it - so it's worth the 10 bucks to me.

Y'know what? I'm just a little disappointed in the way they do things sometimes. It wouldn't have hurt them to give that power as a regular jetpack, like you get in CoV for that Sky raider mish into thier base. Instead we got this jumpjet , which is useable, but as always it has to come with some kind of detriment attached, meaning it doesn't go forwards real well, but it does make some forwards progress, and it also has a 90 second recharge time. Not the end of the world, but it could have been a lot better.
