well u could echo --> Cap --> echo Cap on same guy =P
or u could echo --> Cap --> cancel Cap --> Echo Cap

echo only works on skills or spells i think, not signets....

Well, I just tested it, even though I have read what it says on guildwiki before. Echo just continued to recharge after I used signet of capture, so it doesn't work. Also, even if it did, it would be kind of pointless, since you have to use the signet of capture that you paid for anyway, you would have to be within 20 seconds of another boss, which doesn't happen very often.

Yeah, the only thing I could think of was killing the 2 troll bosses, then echo Capping them for the xp, if it had worked.

Well, if it DID work, and you are a N/Mo, there are two bosses always found together - near the troll tusks collector north of Camp Rankor. One is a Necromancer boss with Blood is Power and the other is a Monk boss with Peace and Harmony and they both can be found right here
Then the trick would be killing them both, then Echo->Signet of Capture->Echoed Signet of Capture.
If only it worked ...
But since now is a double elite skill experience weekend, just take two signets and capture the skills individually, thus getting experience equal to 500 times your current level. I did that and from the first cap I got 5000xp and from the second one - 5500xp, since I was lvl 10 and 11 respectively.

The problem is not only killing them both also how can u echo something when ur a N/Mo?

in dazathsasrfasdsa(sp?) thicket there are 2 rit bosses in a row right next to each other, but what if it did work, would you losee echo permantly???

Btw guys, you wouldn't hVAE to use your 1st signet ;) Just finish casting it and click cancel on the screen, then use the echoed one. Still, its all realative as it is impossible.

Or you don't need to cap an elite. You use the echoed sig of cap to cap a normal skill that you don't want to pay 1k for.

Killing them both is not a problem at all, the biggest problem is getting there.
As for the second part of your statement - you are absolutely right. There's no way one can echo something if he's not a mesmer, primary or secondary.

the problem i see is you echo ur sig cap, cap ur skill, then you have to find another boss to cap a skill from (and in ur primary or 2ndary prof) in about 20 seconds

There are several spots on Perdition Rock (Fire Islands)where two bosses are next to eachother, especially on the East and North coasts.

There doesnt even have to be 2 bosses right next to each other. If it worked all you would have to do is:
1.Use echp
2.Use cap sig
3.Close window cap sig brings up with skill list of dead boss.
4.Use echoed cap sig.
So the first sig is not used at all.

Whether or not you find two bosses of your primary or secondary profession, one having to be Mesmer... the simple fact is, Echo doesn't work on Cap Sigs.
And if both bosses are there, and cappable by you, then just take 2 cap sigs :/ And use an Elite that will aid you killing them.

The point you are missing is that it is possible to capture non-elite skills
Suppose Echo COULD work with Cap Sig. You kill a mesmer boss, echo cap sig, use the sig to capture his elite and use the echo to capture a non-elite spell.
Echo would then expire, and the caputred non-elite spell would be replaced, BUT would be unlocked for PvE on that character and would be equipable at the next town or outpost.
You paid 1k for the one cap sig and got 2 skills out of it.
THAT is what the issue would be if Echo could copy Cap Sigs.
Trivial, indeed, but still..
