Hello!
I'm and looking for a great damage dealing Assassin build, but within the same build I would like some skills that would keep me alive throuhout battles. I haven't yet found Aure Of Displacement to be to helpful, but maybe you have a technique that makes it useful. I you have a kick ass Assassin build and willing to share, I am always interested. =)

Mark of Instabillity/ Iron Palm/ Falling Spider/ Twisting Fangs/ Golden Pheonix Strike/ HotO/ Way of the Empty Palm/ optional (i use healing wind or rez sig)
My knockdown set. While ab'ing yesterday, someone actually pm'ed me, told me how much i owned, asked for my build, and said he was making his first assassin ever because of me... xD

NOTE: Very Much like the shock sin but its purpose is in Gvg to take out the archers quickly and before the battle goes to there. Disrupting slap is to stop troll ugent from being cast.

Theres a ton more but those are probably the best of the best. Take a look at all the elites and you can probably see what the game makers made them for(ie Beguling haze is for inturpting spells and making them dazed while you *ahem* pwn them)

Holy s**t. Now there is someone who took the time to make a good assassin. I deleted mine, didn't think they really had a place in PvE. I'm going to give you credit for that post, it deserves it, and I've noticed that people who ask questions and get helpful answers most often don't give any.

I did make one mistake though on my Vigorous assassin build. It gets rid of 4 conditoins instead of 3 because temple strike also adds blindness. Also keep in mind that blind is covered by dazed so it works better on warriors then spell casters.
I forgot probably the biggest most useful one for Pvp

Flurry/Frenzy
Shroud of Scielence makes monks not able to cast so you can teleport in and use flurry/frenzy to kill them fast. IF they try to run you should have scorpion wire on them so they can't get away(yeah thats why it was made, not to cast and run then teleport in Like i first thought =P)

I posted this one in another Topic but this is the main one that I use now that will help you survive. For every attack that you do, you will gain +15 health, even when you're blinded.
Dagger Mastery: 12 + 1 + 3
Critical Strikes: 8 + 1
Healing Prayers: 10
Skills: Golden Phoenix Strike, Horns of the Ox, Falling Spider, Twisting Fangs, Healing Breeze, Vigorous Spirit, Aura of Displacement, and any Rez.
*Cast Vigorous Spirit before you go into battle.
*It's best to find a person not adjacent to anybody so Horns of the Ox can Knock Down that opponent. HotO only KD's when no enemies are adjacent to it. Pull off Golden Phoenix Strike, Horns of the Ox, Falling Spider, Twisting Fangs in that order.
*Best way to get to an opponent that's all by themselves is use AoD
*Having both AoD on and Vigorous Spirit on gives you a better chance of pulling off the lead-attack Golden Phoenix Strike
*Use AoD to get out of battle by canceling it.
Best weapon to use is Zealous Modded Daggers with Health Mods
