Just a heads up on a few things I've learned about the power both in-game and on the main boards:
- The power is not slottable
- The power is not available until you reach level 2. It will show up in your powers list and you can add it to your tray, but it won't function until you ding 2.
- Probably related to the last item, but if you do ding level 2, and try to use it from Breakout, or if you use it before visiting your first contact, you'll lose your first contact. It's unclear what will happen if you don't have an initial contact, but it probably isn't too good.

ROFLMAO! So, if you lose your very first contact...what are you to do after that? I mean, getting to the next contact and all will be difficult in itself, but what about level 20 and 30? How are you going to get your Cape and Aura?? Those are some very serious complications to deal with...seeing you're only level 2 and there is no hope for capes or auras in your future...wait, you may not have a future, because you have no contacts and are not guaranteed to get any until around level 6-7...lol. Hope this gets worked out.

Yeah, it's interesting...even worse for heroes, since they don't have papers yet!
I've only verified the level 2 requirement issue, as I'm stuck at work sneakin on here and there...it would be a nice test to roll a new toon and try it out.

but remember your only lvl 2. it takes 15 minutes to go back and remake your toon. that doesnt seem to be much of a downer for that power IMO. It'd be helpful in P.O. when you need insps and are 2 miles away without a travel power.

well if you lose your first contact you can just kill snkaes and other goones around but it will take a long time

oh i forgot you can ask other players to join a team wit bank missions and farm it!
yeah bank mishes is the fastest way to lvl up

This sucks. I have to get the g vs e cd because I can't get the code to I can get the special stuff. I cant use my card because its not on the builling form for it.

I got GvE yesterday.
Although I haven't checked out the Costume Pieces yet, I did play around with the jet pack. It basically lets you jump while you're in the air...which sounds weird, but what that means is that you can reach great heights in the 30 seconds that it's active.
The Jump Pack is NOT slottable either.
The Pocket D VIP pass takes about 20 seconds to activate and is interruptable, so don't think about using it while you're in a fight, odds are you won't pull it off.

I ran into a player last night who had the ViP pass and was level 45 I asked him how to get it and he said you can buy it for $9.99 from NCSoft. All you have to do is go to your account and click buy codes then you can get the code for GVE for $9.99 thats cheaper than buying the box set if you already have a CoX account

Unless all you have is a Discover card, they dont except them anymore at the plync store *mumble*. The only alternative they give for that is to buy the box for $30, or get a Visa gift card for $25, which for those of us who don't need another set of game discs.... they are not good options.
I think it's strange I can't use my Discover Card at the PlayNC store for digital purchases, yet I can use it on the Sony page and at Direct2Drive, both of whitch are Digital Download order pages!?

Probably wouldn't work, unless the friend just gave him the card in exchange for $10.
When you go to get the upgrade, you actually have to log into your account and do it that way, and when the purchase if final, it sends it to your account to upgrade, not someone else's.
So, just find someone with a Visa and give them the $10. That'd be the best way to do it, if all you want is the extra stuff.

Eh, I'm debating just buying the box. I'm only hesitant because I have no interest in CoH. I just think it's strange how they wont accept Mastercard, yet all the only places I visit and buy from still accept them with no trouble. Plus I just moved to MI a few months ago, I don't know anyone around here =P hehe

well looks like your stuck buying the box set then think of the positive then when you upgrade you will get 12 charactor slots instead of just the 8 so more villains per server, and you will have pretty posters and comic books to look at.

Hmmm, no friends huh...well, just go take a Visa! This is serious business, act like a true Villain..lol.
Hey, it wouldn't be that bad to have both. If for some strange, ungodly reason you ***shudders*** want to play a Hero, you'll have that option.
The big plus, like ViV stated, you'll have 4 more slots per server to create more alts :)

How truly villainous...unless you someone updated the CoH side and don't remember.
You sure you don't have the Hero version loaded? If so, then it would be wasteful to get the new GvE box at that point and the only way to get the 12 slots is to have both CoX options loaded and registered.

Well on a good note you if you do buy the box you will get a free month. Which is kinda odd for me. I have been playing for just under two months, and now will get the thrid month free as well.
First I bought COV, then found COH, then a friend bought me the GvE as a gift, So 3 free months of great enjoyment.
I dont know about the rest of you but I like COV better, Perhaps after they add the police band for COH it will be better, but otherwise it just seams hard to get new contacts. But then just might be my playing style.

No its not your playing style CoH is just a pain to get around your missions are not always in the same zone as your contact like with villains so you have to travel all over creation to do your mishes so I agree CoV is alot better for that reason I have a level 50 hero so I know the travel pains of CoH. I havent played it since villains came out. I might get back into CoH after they put in the Police Band missions, especially cause I got Villainess to 50 today Woot!!!!
