siggy

ok i need help. i upload my sig and it said or showed a red X. Sometimes it said "Fix your IMG" something i need help showing the cool sig made by DF

Seeing I had some troubles with one...let's see if this is the issue.

Go to your Siggy and right click on it. Then hit properties and copy the URL that it shows. Then when you are ready to add your Siggy, hit the IMG button, paste the URL in, hit ok. That should get your Siggy to show.

are you bringing up the Siggy in it's own web page? or right clicking on the siggy from your gallery?

I was opening the siggy, then copying the URL, which was incorrect. Then, how are you putting it in your profile?

Just use the IMG, /IMG and see if that works as well.

Can you tell me what you exactly are doing? There must be a step you might be missing. I feel horrible that it is not working for you. Pm me the steps you are taking, I can't have a disatisfied customer posting. I'm here to help. :)

Yeah, DF is good, aint he? Thanks again for the bangin' Staff Sigs there, DF. Now...a question.

In your own sig you have the number 667 as being the neighbor of the Beast (I will skip the Biblical referrence for brevity), but wouldnt 667 be not just the neighbor of the Beast, but the guy across the street? I'm not trying to be picky, but howsabout 664, and 668? I mean they are like on either side of the Beast, but they never get any props. Actually, as the song goes, 667 could very well be the guy on the 'sunny side of the street'. Hmmm, just sayin'.

Im having the same problem D-Beam had, i

1.Copy the URL
2.Select the IMG
3.copy it in
4.update account
5.and then it just shows a red [ x ]

you can't copy the URL (from the address bar window), you need to bring up the full image in your gallery, right-click to see properties, and then copy the url that appears on the properties pane.

an example would be:

The address url is:
-http://www.gameamp.com/core/displayGalleryImage/15915.php

but the properties url is:
-http://www.gameamp.com/modules/core/user_gallery/15915_gallery.jpg

very similar, but not quite enough...

Well, I can tell by the properties of your little red x that you are not using the correct URL. The size of the one you have is 20 x 30 and that is just too small to be a siggy.

Another question is, where do you have your Siggy saved? Is it on your hard drive or is it saved on a website or your image gallery here on GA? If you have it saved anywhere on your PC and try to post, then it won't work as it is not attached to the world wide web. Make sure you have it saved in your image gallery here first before posting. Because looking at your little red x, it has some mydocument properties in it.

I could be totally off base, but that could be another issue you're having as well.

ok question when you copy the url do you have your siggy open to its full size for example if you have it in your GA image gallery you have to click on the image first so it shows the images true size then you right click and go to properties and copy the url if you dont the image will not work it will show the red x.

I think Bishop's got it...there are no images in your gallery, so unless you have it hosted on another website, that's probably the issue.

You can have an unlimited number of images in your gameamp gallery, so upload it there and we can help you get this worked out right quick like!
