Contest Time!
For the next 3 weeks there will be a contest every week, each contest will have 2 winners..
What is the purpose..?
You guys have to come up with a nice sentence about the Gameamp Staff.
Download this picture and add the text you want onto it =)
here is the original picture:
this is an example of what a valid entree would be:
Now the best part:
Every week for the next three weeks staffers will vote for 2 winners!
Each winner will get
*** 1 Bonus Pack Key ***
*** 1 Gray Giant Key ***
* Each contestant is only allowed to send in a maximum of 3 pictures every week.
* The winners of one week cannot participate the next week no more, in other words, you can only win this price once!
* Entrees need to be in a reply post to this original post.
* If you do not know how to place a picture on this fansite, click here
This first contest will close on Friday 13th, winners will be announced on Sunday 15th

sounds very fun 1 ? tho cn you add another mini toy giant key to an account that alreaddy has one? same with bonus pack for a extra slot.

only 1 key can be added to a single account (both gray giant and bonus pack)
if you have both keys already added, and decide to enter the contest, I guess you can make a friend or guildie happy =)

Not sure about the minipet, but I'm fairly certain you cant add another extra slot via the bonus pack. If you cehck your access keys it says "You have added the following extra features to your account:" With the nightfall bonus it says underneath that, "Guild Wars Nightfall Bonus Key"
I doubt that would be listed twice, therefore you probably cant have 2 extra slots with 2 bonus key's.
Also, is there a coincidence that its ending on the 13th? and, i would make the pic mention something like that if I didnt already have the bonus pack(dont wanna take it from someone else incase I would win)

Not to sound negative, but a contest by the gameamp staff about the gameamp staff seems a little egotistical to me.
Edit: This is my opinion on this. I don;t take anything away from what the GA staff does. i appriciate it very much. but let the community members throw you your accolades. Don't make a contest where you ask for them. Asking for compliments or for someone to say something good about you is egotistical, and self centered.
I added this because I recieved a PM from someone saying I have to apologize and I took it as a threat that if I don't I will be banned. I won't apologize for my opinion. Where i am from I have the freedom to express it as long as it doesn't physically harm someone. And bruising someones ego doesn't count.

This is directed towards the people who ARE NOT admins. You are just a user/poster here like everyone else, including me. So before you get on your high horse and tell people how to play the game, or what they should and should not post (ie screenshots, game guides, thread topics, etc) keep this in mind...NO ONE ASKED YOU, AND YOUR PERMISSION OR APPROVAL IS NOT NEEDED!!! So if you don't lik a topic, or a picture, or whatever, then move on to the next one.
P.S. If you don't like my opinion, just remember one thing, I don't care. It is mine and I am happy with it. : )

Tribina and Binarydumb decided to spend their own money to provide something fun for the community, I think it's fine and not egotistical to have the first pic about the staff, we work hard for the love of the forums, none of us get paid. Just enjoy the competition and keep those entries coming in :=)
