Help wit armor .

I never noticed the new armors that chanta offerd. I wonder if eny one has the armor postet at the link and could explain where do i buy it . Dont be suprised but never liked 15k fow armor for monk but since i saw this one .^^

You can craft it in Divine Path after defeating Shiro I believe.

Edgwalkers is coming.

you are able to buy the 15k canthan armor from Divine path.
you get to Divine path after you have defeated shiro.
then go a bit further on from where you get the amulet and you should see some armor traders

i didnt complete factions camping yet i made it to dragons troath max . just needed senjis for greens so i didnt bother go further cna i still somehow go craft the armor

you are able to get that at vasburg armor. and if your just at senjis then you have a way to go to be able to purchase this

To get to vasburg armory you need to do 6 main missions from senjis in order to get there. (just for info)

You'll have to play the game to get to the good stuff and you've only got 'til Nightfall to do it. Once NF is released Factions is gonna be a ghost town.

To get your hands on the better looking armor you need to make your way through the game. There's also much better Greens, Elites and other stuff so it's worth getting through it anyway. Plus apart from a couple of missions (Gyala Hatchery, Unwaking Waters!-hard to get a party!), it's not hard, so it shouldn't take you too long!

Ye but the factions campaign is so boooring .... Pew pew I made it to Thenkai Temple or something now i got to free some souls in this mission just cant do it .. how many missions am i away from the end enyway ..

Dont forget that you'll have to do a couple of quests to get enough kurz / lux faction in order to be admitted to HzH / Cavalon...
That might take some time too...

When it comes down to it, factions is really not that long, if you put some effort into it, you could beat it in a day, maybe two. I personally think the 15k Canthan looks better than the 15k kurzick, so it's worth the extra effort to go on from Vasburg armory. After Vasburg, there are only three missions, and one of them is defeating Shiro, which takes about 2 minutes.

And what exactly makes you say that? Tyria didnt get evacuated when Factions was released, why should Tyria or Cantha get nuked when ppl can go to Elona?
NEWSFLASH: Factions is a good game, otherwise you wouldnt play it.

I believe no disrespect was ment to Factions at all with that comment, it's just that everyone will want to play the new content, meaning Cantha and Tyria will more than likely be deserted, just as Prophecies was when Factions was released.

2. look at the bright side if ppl leave chanta wich aint gona happen . Enyway there will be more drop for us in elonas,droknars,underworld. There is more ways to go whit ectos than to just sell them to ppl

And what exactly make you think i was flaming? Also, if you actually checked prophecies, it most definitely wasnt deserted when factions was released, and neither will be deserted when nightfall is released. I would also love for somebody to explain how Factions could possibly be bad when it ADDS content to GW.

In answer to your question about expansions adding content to games (and this is nothing to do with Guild Wars, but games in general), just because things are added, it doesn't necessarily mean those things are good - look what happened to Star Wars Galaxies.

And yes I have checked Tyria, and it sure wasn't as populated as it used to be - which is natural - new things are added to the game, so people will want to check them out.

I think you need to calm down, there was nothing negative in this post in the first place.

It's already tough enough to get teams from Hatchery to the end (I'm Luxon) and that's while Factions is still current.

On a personal note, I don't feel that Factions is a good PvE game when compared with Chapter 1. For a start it's way too easy (when you CAN get a team) and I don't like the way they've balanced some of the skills.
However, the graphics and level design are awsome, some of the weapon skins are really cool and the PvP side has been greatly improved.

If NF proves to be the game we're all hoping for I can't see me re-playing Factions where as I'm back in Prophecies helping people all the time.

Ok heres explanations:
1) People slag off Factions far too much. Almost every other thread i see "omg factions sux/ i h8 factions/ factions ftl" - it annoys me because its no worse than prophecies.
2) People will not always buy the current straight away. Also, there are a lot of faction farmers who will probably stay there as well as any Monk or Warrior who needs to fight thru factions to get nice looking armor (prophecies armor for those 2 classes is horrible imo, and havent seen anything in nightfall that beats Kurzick 15k Mo and Luxon 15k W)
3) None of the content added in Factions was bad apart from giving people the chance to use gropers. The item skins in factions are much better on the whole in factions than prophecies (chaos axe ftl). Also, there are many skills that are fun to use and fill in most of the gaps that prophecies left.
4) The story is much less confusing than the prophecies one. At least you know who the bad guy is in factions!

Lets all just hope that GW:N has better armor then GW:F then :-)

Personally I like almost all the Kurnick Series armors... My clan ]HM[ just started with this game... and I am sure there will be others doing the same... so I dont think Factions will be too much of a ghost town you think it might be. Its all personal preference in the end.

No one has said that in this thread as far as I can see

However whether it is as good as Prophecies is a matter of preference (I like different aspects of both btw, just to neutralise myself).

But the majority of people will buy the current straight away, as most people will be finished with Factions (for now anyway), and will be enticed by the new features/landscapes/stories/quests/classes/other (delete as appropriate :P)

Whilst I personally agree with you on many (not all) of these points, some people may not i.e. someone may like the chaos axe skin - all people are different.

Some like stories to have a twist, sometimes it's no fun to be able to predict the end of things (although how blatant was it that the Vizier was you-know-who?)

You see you've clinched it ther with one acronym 'imo'

It's opinion, I don't like most of the Factions armour, I don't want to look like a turtle I want to look like a steel clad knight. In parts I both agree and disagree with you but not once did I slag off the game.

The people who shout "OMG it's total &$%*" are just kids following a trend without making up their own mind.

btw - I'm giving you +cred for giving explainations rather than getting antsi like far too many people do.

Ya, second time i played thru i was like /duh! However i hated the "yea were running away, lets beat up random guys, lets go help these, NO! LETS KILL THEM NOW! oh no they were actually right, oops...." It just kinda seems a bit like the story designer cldnt really make his mind up xD

WOOT WOOT, raise the roof, paws in the air...

Yeah I am 25 (last week :-D) and I help run a no cussing, no adult content servers and forums... and it drive me nuts nuts with the spammer and cussers and other crap like that... its not really needed and every one has different taste buds.
