| 'Show your creative side' Competition (cash prize) |

Hey Guys,
I've been busy farming with guildies and to my suprise I accumulated quite a bit of money in storage. I simply cannot decide what to spend it on, so I decided to put some aside for Nightfall things - Weapons, armor, you know. But I have an extra 75k hanging around (as you do), so I thought why not let some lucky AMPer get their hands on it.
This is what you have to do to have a chance to get this cash.
Above is a pumpkin, its the sterotypical symbol of Halloween which is celebrated on the 31st of october, just a few weeks from today.
Basically, I was you to show me your creative side, whether its in a picture, a photo, a story, a poem, a video anything. As long as it has something to do with pumpkins...Now, if your thinking "I don't have photoshop, I won't bother entering this", then think again - Every method of entry has as much chance as the rest. You can make it funny, sad, serious or thoughtful - This is YOUR competition!
The prize is 75k, your to spend on whatever you want and there is no 2nd or 3rd prize.
Every entry will gain themselves 10 Cred and the grand prize winner will get an extra 50 cred.
I will be judging each entry on quality, originality and how well you stuck to the theme.
You may enter as many times as you want
The contest ends this time next week,

I have one:
I have just started my latin class on school, + I thought I would share some stories in one... here is my entrance:
This submitment isn't ECXATLY Halloween themed, but very closely related.
You see, many Americans think that Halloween is from USA, but this isn't correct at all. Halloween was first found in Ireland, in the 13th century.
But, the Halloween that the Americans celebrate now, is also influence by another day, which comes from Mexico, "The Day of the Dead", or "Dνa de los Muertos, Dνa de los Difuntos or Dνa de Muertos" as they say in Spanish. It is celebrated at november the first, which is for the Saints, and on the second, which celebrates all the souls (read: family members)
This is a very popular celebration in Mexico, and it is a sort of "positive" way of honouring the dead, where the childrens geet cookies and other stuff. It is from here that the Americans have found their "happy" way of celebrating Halloween, not as depressingly done by the Ires' in the 13th century. Both traditions is VERY old, and still very popular. But, for some reason, people like translating things. That includes me =)
So I have decided to try to translate a old mexican song which I found in English, back to it's original language (Latin). Hope you enjoy =)

I know it's old and I know a lot of people have seen it. That doesn't mean it's not funny. I would never claim this was worth 75k just kicking off the competition with a little laugh. Is that such a crime?

the mad king is comming back and to assist him i wil write down some jokes so people will laugh and get there hand on a beautifull pumpkin crown.
dwayna and grenth where having an argument about the the weather since dwayna want nice summerday's and grenth is more the frozen bone type and on a sudden moment the mad king arrived (this is a moment to say ooooowww)
the mad king was ravenous he said: ur fighting about x-mas already man u first have to celebrate halloween.
both of u have to pay so furfill my tasks and return to me.
ok said grenth and dwayna since they were affraid of the mad kings jokes and his awfull talent of wining rock paper and scissors.
ok said the mad king go to a collector and get 100 pieces of his wares other wise u wil lose and wil celebrate halloween in october and for the whole x-mas event.
dwayna and grenth hurried to the collectors (since they didn't want to get drunk on absinthe and witch brew the whole x-mas
grenth killed like 200 char for they're char carving (low drop rate u see)
and exchanged them for ghost in the box.
then he returned to the mad king and gave it ti him.
the mad king said: unleash the ghosts and store them in your behind without laughing (thats fairly easy since ghosts have no wheight and just go through things) when he came to his 99th ghost he couldnt hold it he had to laugh.
so no xmas for grenth but why did grenth laugh?
well he saw Dwayna comming with a bunch of pumpkin lanterns
So its going to be a strange x-mas this year peeps so

If I was given $1,000,000, but I had to move out of the U.S and stay out, I would go to Canada. Once there, I would make my $1mil into pennies, giving me 1 billion pennies. After that, I would melt them until I got a liquid, then drink the melted pennies. Then I would be the first canadian guy to die from drinking pennies.

my turn now: once i bought with a friend 30 pumpkins(noone wanted them so we could ahve them for 0.10earo each. we make very funny stuff out of them, like a telephone. we even made a suite XD it was the pumpkin suite:P it fitted really nice and it was of good qualaty, it only lasted for 1 day(started rotting).
and this is just a haloween pic of the best game ever(oppinion, no offending/argue able)

That's the reason why I used Paint, to show you do not need PS or even Gimp (Gimp is free by the way)
I sense a lot of people don't enter these competitions, because sometimes they don't have PS or they might think that they are not that good with editing and stuff, but really all it takes is a little creative and paint :D

well heres my entry.
once upon a time in the mind of a pumpkin(my title lol)
i wonder what Evil Geek will get up to today then. Maybe he will buy me and place me upon his mantle peice or unfortunatly smash me in to millions of pieces to start forming his evil Minion Army of DOOOOOOMMMM. Any way if that doesnt happen maybe the evil Jeni will come along and purchase me to use as his evil side kick instead of using those boring old cookies that keep getting stolen by Travis. Hes an evil Son of a B****h but he can still get away with stealing the cookies. I wonder if oli_hayden will be able to come to my halloween party this year and create a brilliant competition and let me be the winner because im the greatest pumpkin ever grown and will eventually take over the world*heres pinky and the brain theme tune in background*
thats the end of my story not brilliant but i thought i'd take part for the hell of it because this community is brilliant...

Once in a far off land
Across a vast ocean
And thru a the endless sands
There was an enchated pumpkin patch
These were no regular pumpkins though
But their magic couldn't be seen
Except on the one special day
This day would be Halloween
They all had grown perfect
All but one that sprout
Everyone was happy
Except one who had fear and doubt
As the time flew by
To the day of the 31st
The pumpkins all chosen
But not the one who thoght the worst
Alone he was on that magic day
It was the night before the eve
No one had chosen him
Until came a boy by the name of Steve
The boy had been here every day
And also every night
Had seen the bast pumpkins
But couldn't found one that was right
So as he looked hard
He heard a slight sigh
Steve picked the sad pumpkin
With a gleem in his eye
Mommy, Daddy this is the one I want
The pumpkins spirits filled with glee
He had found a home
So the parents paid the fee
On the way hame the boy talked
And told the pumpkin what he wanted to do
The pumplin was now happy he was picked
Then the boy gave the pumpkin the name of Stu
When they got home the boy carved him happy eyes
A small nose and a big sharp toothed grin
After Stu was carved he was put up for display
So Steve went to sleep hopeing his pumpkin would win
As the clock struck midnight
Stu did come to life
As he walked through the house
He grabed a huge knife
Then he went door to door
With a huge punch bowl
He said trick or treet
Then devoured the person's soul
Stu had cleared the whole town
And as the morning dawned he stuck a match
That burned down the whole town
The moral of the story, Never trust the Enchanted Pumpkin Patch
