Okay so earlier me roomie and I were in Lions Arch, and we see this person that wanted help with a quest. So my roomie sends him a whisper saying that her andd I would like to help. So we all get in the same party and head out to start.. He dies within like 1 minute and basically starts saying that I wasn't fighting.. and by fighting he meant going right up to the enemies with a sword. First off, I'm an E/N.. me using a sword wouldn't do any damage. He was an N/E and said he uses a sword to fight, meanwhile he died like 3 times and I died none because I stayed in the back using my spells and doing far more damage than him. Then he starts saying all this stuff like we aren't team players, and that we are noobs. What's the point of me using a sword when I don't have anyway to up swordsmanship, because I'm an E/N. Just thought I'd share that.

Fact of the matter is he was being an idiot. The reason he died so much is not because "you wernt fighting" as he said, its the fact that he was using a caster profession/secondary to fight in close-combat, which usually results in death unless you have a build specifically designed for close-combat encounters. People like this are the kind you put on your ignore list.
EDIT: and the only way you would use a sword is if you were part mesmer using Illusionary Weaponry, which allows you to deal damage based on your Illusion Magic, not based of whatever weapon masteries you have. But seeing as you were not part mesmer, there is no reason for you to use a sword.

dont make fun of him. I mean without noobs how can intelligent beings feel superior to people. also who else will bring power attack over res sig, clinching our win in arena battles.

so your top char is lvl 19... all i can say is there are alot less noobs where the lvl 20 content ( the real GW) picks up and just blow em off til then.

There is a possibility that he/she was ran there by an experienced player. If his level was in the 15-20 range, he might have been powerleveled as well.

Actually...I've run with individuals like that also in some of the Krytan and Denravi quests. I just chalk it up to some kid that's probably like eleven years old and doesn't quite grasp what they're doing. No harm, no foul, just bail.
