Just wondering if anyone had beta pictures of guildwars. whenever I google it it's never any pictures ;_;
I'm talking about Reallllly old pictures like this one :

neat, i don't but it's interesting to look back on the Beta pics and see how the game's progressed.

By the way, I only selected the images tab on yahoo and typed in "guild wars beta". I'm sure there are more than just these.

awhile back my brother found a whole gallery of old pics from guildwars on gamespot.com

start from the back of the images for the oldest WoW looking ones, and move foward from there. some pretty interesting screenshots there.

Wow I miss the campfire log in screen :( You should be able to choose which you have like a desktop background.
This one looks like a different engine alltogether, did they try running it on the WoW platform when they first tested? Far too cartoonie for me.

i agree, although the other backgrounds are pretty cool, including the present elonia one, i'm starting to miss the good old campfire log in screen aswell.

I personally enjoyed the beta layout more than the current one, though thats just my preference. But yeah, I'll check if me old computer still has any screenies in it.
I wonder if they could create a way for us to switch the login backgrounds? That might be cool.

I use to have tons of Beta pics, but sadly they was lost when my HDD crashed back in December of 2004. :(
