ive just recently unlocked aura's for my stalker on virtue and i had a question in regards to them...
In pvp....would my now sparkling stalker make my villain more visible to heroes? I would imagine yes....

No. Auras and capes are part of the costume. In this game, costumes have no effect on the game play, they just allow you to personalize your character.

No, they will not detect you, in regards to counting for a critical strike, but the aura might make you more likely to be seen, by a player. So, just try to pick dark colors, and not go for baby blue flames. :)
on a side note, baby blue flames does look pretty cool on most avarars, makes you look like a arcon(sp?) from starcraft.

It doesn't matter which Aura you pick, it doesn't let a player (if you mean hero in PvP) see you any better.
