It may not be a holiday or anything like that but I've been meaning to say this to everyone all day so yeah
Happy Friday the 13th ^^
A little something about "Friday the 13th":
Triskaidekaphobia is a fear of the number 13. It is usually considered to be a superstition. A specific fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia.
So there you have it, if you fear this day then you have paraskavedekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia.

I did read in one book , I believe it was 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' that a pope in the 13th century ordered the execution of heretics across europe on friday the 13th. According to a little google research Ive just done there was also talk about the fact that France's King Philip IV ordered the execution of the Knights Templars (a christian army of sorts considered by some to be heretics) on friday 13th. Then there are other pagan beliefs that held friday as the sabbath so making friday an unlucky day was good for turning people away from those beliefs. The 'Lunar' Calender also had 13 months so to convince people to move away from it to the calendar we have now the 13th was made unlucky.
There are probably a tonne of other reasons why this date is considered unlucky...history of superstitions is quite interesting :)
A large box fell on my head this morning.....luckily it wasnt very heavy but apart from that I've had a nice day.

Some phobia facts (I was doing some research on them and a couple jumped out at me):
Arachibutyrophobia-Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth
Aphenphosmphobia-Fear of being touched (lol!)
Atychiphobia-Fear of failing (for hockeyman)
Cyberphobia-Fear of computers (I bet no one on this site has that)
Ephebiphobia-Fear of teenagers (lol again)
Iatrophobia-Fear of doctors
Phobophobia-Fear of phobias (LOL!!!!)
Scolionophobia-Fear of school (I've had that once in a while)
I'm sure there are tons more out there, like that fear of Friday the 13th wasn't on there and the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth was just some background knowledge.

Have you guys heard of the children's book "Series of Unfortunate Events"? Well, the author of that series just released the last book today (Book the Thirteenth: The End)...

I believe so, although I'm not sure how much of the books were in that movie (haven't watched it yet)

My Friday the 13th
1) waterheater broke, spilling water everywhere...and cold showers suck. I had to wait around for a good part of the day with the pluymber to fix it all.
2) ambulane duty. Normaly i ride wensdays, but my captain asked me to cover for someone. WE had to do standby for a football game and deal with 4 patients and the accompanying paperwork in a 6 hour shift. I also ended up missing dinner and was hungry for much of the night.
3) came home to play GW only to find ym brother hogging the coputer playing the gmod...
my friday the 13th wasn't unlucky at all.
