Yes, because I seem to have grown a bit bored with GuildWars. The economy has died, in my opinion.

Lately, all I do is:
1) 600 health farm Minotaurs (lame, boring, I only do it enough to keep a stable 10k)
2) Help random groups with all desert missions. I find 9/10 the monks in the desert are farmers, and groups don't have monks to keep them alive.

I stopped RAing. Too many CoP monks. I stopped like a month ago, so I don't know how RA is doing now.

Being a 14 year old, $500 is a lot. It could help me buy a new computer, because this one sucks. Or it could get me 50 volumes of manga >_>

And I mainly play Soldat anyway :/

I think in this case you lose the money if you start playing again (or maybe lose the ability to play GW entirely somehow). Otherwise, it's a kind of pointless question.

For myself, I'd say no. Things that I find as much enjoyment in as Guild Wars are extremely rare, and it also provides me with a great deal more social interaction than I would otherwise get since I'm very much slow to make friends in real life, so it isn't worth it to me.

a big HELLS NAW! Im 20 years old and 500 is chump change when you start working a job. Also, even if i were younger i'd still have to say...HELLS NAW.... cuz well 500 only takes you so far. Even if i used it to buy a PS3 i wouldnt have money for the games afterwards because the 60gb is running 500-600 and even the 20GB is 400....but who the hell wants a below par system ;) ya know?

$500 isn't enough for me. Same reason as Immunis, 500 dollars is chump change when you're working.

What would it take? I'd agree to never play Guild Wars Factions for $500,000. Then I'd take part of that money and buy Nightfall CE. Two of em.

Id have to say no. Im only 16 and still earning more then 500 dollars a pay. Just doesnt seem worth it to give up something I enjoy doing for a lil extra money.

Mmm ide say yes, ide take the $500 then invest it in A-Net or NCSOFT then when nightfall comes out ide sell m yshares and become REALLY rich,i would then pay the poeple who made guildwars to work for me and make a game BETTER then guildwars(if that possible)and then distribute it free to AMPers and friends then only make people $30 to buy the game and $50 to buy CE.

please...get an xbox 360 or a wii instead. at least then you would have a quality gameing system to play...even a nintendo DS would be a better choice, and then you could buy some mroe stuff. but i degress.

I would turn down the $500 to stop playing guildwars. 500 dollars is a reasonable chunk of change, but nowhere near enough to make mje consider the idea of no longer playing one of my favorite games... sure I may dissapear from GW for a month or so here and there, but i always come back.

also...saying you would take the money yet still play is most dishonorable and tottaly avoiding the question.

Absolutely not.

Because for the $50 it cost for the game (okay, $150 total when Nightfall comes out), I have had nearly a year of solid enjoyable entertainment. If I were to compare that to the average game lifespan for me, GW is probably worth closer to $5,000 for the amount of entertainment I've had (I ordinarily have a very short game attention span).

Or, looking at it this way, your average 2 hour movie runs say $7.50 at the movie theater. I've played for about 1500 hours in the GW world, so by my math, the same amount of movie time would cost about $5,625. And then you figure that the majority of those movies you see probably aren't very good. ;-)

Besides, I make enough at my job that a $500 bribe is nice, but won't stop me in my tracks. xD
