| Uses for the Confuse Powers |

I have a couple a mind controller and I never invested much into the confuse power that was available. Until last night.
I had the opportunity to be in Bloody Bay with my level 20 mind/rad controller named Narcolepsee and I found the enemies and some fellow heros having solo fights. I was invited to participate.
Granted by level 20 most people have good resistence to most controller powers.
I fought a stalker and a corrupter. They shrugged of most attacks but when I connected with confuse they could not understand why they were attacking fellow teammates or why I was getting healed and buffed.
Sure I lost but it a lot longer to be killed than I thought and I learned that confuse is worth slotting out a lot more than I had in the past.
Other uses for the power I have found. Make the embalmed go boom and have the sorcers heal you instead of the tsoo.
This should work as well for other enemies with buff/debuff powers.
Did I miss anything?

Yeah, confuse also works on Sky Raider Shield generators and the Engineers that spwan them. Can't wait until I'm high enough to try it on a Sapper. :)

being confused it for the lazy because it takes 239 muscles to frown, 47 to smile, but 0 to sit there with a dumb look on your face of confuzzledation.

Best use I've seen for that power is versus the Av Psychic Clockwork King from PI. That AV always opens combat with his Psychic Wail which will kill almost every toon around him (no more one shots my butt), well if you can stack confuse/decieve on him fast enough to affect him he'll use it on the Mob that he's standing in , utterly blowing them away. While his alpha is recharging rush in and crush him. I giggle everytime I see someone manage this.

It kills you because its DoT. It seems like 1 hit, but its not. Also, knuck, confusing Sappers is incredibly fun :)

Earth's embrace, rooted, & minerals. FTW!
Even before I got minerals, I only got downed once while facing the Psi Clockwork King. He got 2 hits in for over 1600 hps. Next time around, I had earth's embrace up and was running 2800 hps strong.
Have been doing some carnival missions lately, and minerals is hella nice. I see deflection and miss come up a lot.

for mez protection, i like dispersion bubble from the FF set. i have stood in front of even level madness mages, and they have not been able to hit me with a mezz. this is partially slotting, but you get the picture.
