| Have you ever wondered were TYIRA came from? |
|
|
|
I came across this word so many times, i am reading a book and it mentions a land called Tyira (has nothing to do with GW) so I was curiuos and googled it, I came up with mostly TYRA BANKS like 3 pages..... but here is a usefull site or one of the sites that give some history if they r true!
If you find some more things Please share them with us I would love to know more.
Or its a Moth?

"Tyria," has apeared in many books films etc. Its probably as popular as "Gaia". Im fairly certain its a fictional place however. Perhaps the word is relevant to something in another language.

There are lots of referances to other things in GW, cant remember them but didnt know Tyria was one of them, still pretty cool though.

Funny. You worked with a typo: it's not tyIRa, but tyRIa... and still... :P

"King Of A Big Deal" and the "People Know Me Titles" both refer to the movie Anchorman; the Legend of Ron Burgundy.
Which is a very cool movie imo :P

And "orr" is the hungarian word for "nose".
Actually, there's a lot of references in GW. Like Rodgort - Trogdor; or Bonetti's Defense (Princess Bride), or "It's Just A Flesh Wound!" (Monty Pythyon And the Quest for the Holy Grail), or "You Can't Touch This!" (McHammer), and lots more... Guildwiki usually lists them.
