I am sick and tired of Luxons and Kurzick shouting at each other calling each other noobs and other spiteful comments via. all chat if being a luxon or kurzick was a religion maybe then it would be more understandable...but its not.
I've being doing FAW alot tonight and have seen loads of spiteful and hatful comments being exchanged IT'S ONLY A GAME
Also while we are talking about FAW when you shout at someone "noob runner" wouldnt it make us more of a nooob if we idly stood there and let you own us ...??
I said GG Luxons and i got 1 reply from someone saying gg back...
So please people stop flaming in PvP AB RA TA FAW JQ or you might find All / Local Chat being disabled in FAQ?/JQ

U cant say anyone is a noob. everyone started to play one time long ago, back then they didn't know muich about the game or how to use some skills in right order or run. Calling someone a noob is just a sing that you were one urself back then. If someone runs u and fails say better luck next time instead of f* noob dont run if u cant and so on. Woow i hate those ppl. And i hate ppl who says that every1 with FoW armor buys money from ebay, i was in a chestrun and he said i was a f* noob and i bought money from ebay, well it was just funny but anyways u know what i mean xD !

newb is the term your looking for, noob is a derrogitory comment, and yes there is a difference to those who thought it was the same thing

I agree with you here, but if someone isnt sure if they can run and they say things like "PRO RUNNER" or they dont say its a test run then i dont agree with you.

Lately I've mostly been playing at Aspenwood and I have to agree, the yelling back and forth just makes the whole thing not very fun. I'm there to have a good time. The way I see it, if you are too busy throwing angry comments at each other you should probably be doing something else.

I have to agree with this too. Leechers are making it rougher for the rest of us, especially when 2 or 3 players leave the rest of us to fight it out by ourselves.

I love FA, but boy, is it frustrating.
The chances of ending up with a team of none leechers who know what they are doing are slim to none. Sure, it happens occasionally, but often before then I've gotten frustrated and given up. I'm sure ANet could do something about leechers. If they can recognise bot behaviour, well, leecher behaviour can't be that hard to spot, right?
And generally, if in FA or AB and I wish the Luxons good luck, the normal response isn't all that polite. But hey, those who can't see it's only a game? They're probably not having as much fun as you ^^
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons...for you are crunchy, and good with ketchup.

Of course, you can just ignore it, I myself tend to complement my oponents when they come up with good builds and strategies to defeat me, some of them respond, others don't. I generally prefer the niceities.
Leechers are a completely different issue, at once, I was a normal person believeing that anet did things about leechers, investigated your reports HOWEVER recently I have reported the same person on 3 seperate report inceidents, submitting screenshots of around 12 different games where they have been leeching yet this person is STILL leeching, for this, I am appalled.

PS: All though this is only a game, the interaction between each person is real.

It’s one of the reasons I haven’t taken a leap for PvP just yet. I rather finish the PvE aspect and deal with less fighting amongst the players.
Just like y’all said, there an’t really anything you can do but lead by example.

i generally tend to play for luxon and kurzick sides depenant on my mood, or my aims.
I mainly only play PvE but with the double faction weekend i tested out the PVP side of factions, and tbh i was pleasantly surprised,
however recently the games have gotten childish and boring, u can guarentee that atleast 1 person will drop out and another go afk, and as for the cussing, well i just ignore them and get on with my own job in the team, if they wanna spend all their time typing so be it, im gonna spend my time constructively killing your players, normally i tell my team that its better to ignore it than retaliate as they soon become more and more fustrated that no one is arguing with them.

He he, weren't Luxons and Kurzicks supposed to hate each other with passion, so all the trash talk in Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry is just normal role playing and staying true to one's character?
Jokes aside, the only times I've visited the two places have been to acquire my Canthan Grandmaster cartographer title. It took a long, long wait to get a go and when in there I was getting whacked by the opposite team despite my pleas to just map the place in peace and be gone. Well, I wasn't exactly helping 'my' team other than possibly drawing the opponent's attention but I find it unfortunate that these kinds of places have to be included to the tally towards the cartography titles.

o.O I always have the chat off whenever I do FAW. Not because of flamers but because I have all my attention on the game not smack talk. =P All the Luxon vs Kurzick is silly and flaming each other for it is even sillier!

notice it says documents on the C:/ well unfortunatly not everyone has access the this source so what you need to do is upload it to a image server like http://www.photobucket.com or http://www.imageshack.com when you have done that use the link you are provided with and it will work.
hope this is easy to understand i tend to complicate the simplest things :S
ADDED*** make sure you use the [ img]linnkToImage[ /img]tags when adding it in your signature

well i totally agree! its a friggin game it can get me pissed.
I mean when it comes like a jokes it aint that bad for instance i often say in alliance chat : watchout we have some good treehuggers this morning in ab havent got any faction so guys we better get back and throw our turtle trought the wash street :p
But in a guild i once where in a guild who called kurzicks the N*zis bcuz of the german like names well that pissed me off ! (left it offcourse)

I've been playing alot of Ft Aspenwood recently. It's alot of fun because you get to hold the fort(Kurzick) or invade it(Luxon).
But about the chat, I ALWAYS have local chat off. And usually I can tell if it's worth it to have Team chat on within a minute or so into the game.
Recently, I've become quite jaded about flamers/leechers in-game. Not entirely sure why, but maybe I've reached the acceptance part of the stages. Also, who really cares about flamers ingame? Nothing you say can make a positive difference and why would you want to associate with them anyway?
