I guess you are referring to This Post, well I appologize if you consider it to be rude or anything..
That was not my intention..
On the other hand I don't really appriciate this post either ;-)
Matter is, it's a violation of the EULA and it will not be tollerated by me or any other staffer on this website ;-)

problem with chat and posts is that you cannot see the emotion behind it..
Emoticoms don't help here
And can always be misinterpretated..
You are allowed to speak you mind as long as you don't flame.. Gameamp site is very succesful and one of the reasons of beeing succesful is coz we got some guidelines to be followed..

running multiple clients is against the EULA? Even if you use 2 accounts? I imagine it would slow your computer down alot, but why would they care if your running to accounts that you paid for?

To run 2 accounts on 1 PC you need to edit files of the data on your PC.
Modifying this is against the EULA.
A while ago there was a guide submitted about this, we got expert advise that this was a violation of the eula

Not sure if this is completely true but from what I hear you can run 2 guildwars different accounts by installing to seperate hard drives. I have a D and C Hard drive APPARENTLY I could run two copies but I havent bothered trying because I have my fiance whenever I need to swap things to other account

There is another way to do it without editing anything and thus without violating the EULA, but you need to either have a non-wireless network connection for that or load all your network drivers through a Generic Host Process for Win32 Services.
It simply comes down to using Windows XP user account switching to load a second instance of the game in a different memory space and therefore not having to modify the client to make the process ID differently.

You should also be aware that this is an official fansite, discussion of against EULA material (especially of how to do it) could get us taken off the lists, nobody wants that. The staffers have a rule, if you're in doubt about a topic, LOCK IT. It's easier to prevent damage by locking a topic if you're unsure, than it is to remove the damage of a topic that wasn't locked and progressed into something it shouldn't.
Last thing, please do not insinuate the staff abuse their authority, I know many of the staff ingame and the kind of people that become staff are resonsible members of the community who have been here a long while and helped out alot.
Edgwalkers is coming.

While i don't think the staffers abuse their authority by any means, I think even the staffers would agree that they are human and it is possible for them to make mistakes. I don't like seeing blanket statements like this that make it sound like we can't question the staffers actions. If I was on the staff, I would welcome constructive critisism on how I copmpleted my duties. Although I would give a staffer the benefit of the doubt faster than a person with one post, noone on this site is above critisism in my opinion and that includes staffers.
I know I just took one paragraph out of this thread, but i didn't like where it was going.
