Yes it is rare but happens.
Ok, say I dont have CoV but CoH (w/ me still dont want to lose you) and I want CoV too. If I purchase and online code, say for instance the Good v Evil edition. If I purchase the $10.00 online code will it allow me to then play CoV or is that one just for the extra crap from the box set?
If so, then that means I need to buy the $20 CoV code? Maybe that $5 CoV is still there. Any help all you wonderful ampers can provide would be very welcomed. Thank you and good day.

Errr, well you did actually lose me but if I understand anything at all of what you just asked this might help...
To my knowledge there is no code that would only give you the extras from CoV that you can use in CoH (SG bases, costume pieces, etc...) without actually allowing you to play CoV.

What I want to do is buy my friend a online code so he can play CoV also. He only has CoH. Im trying to fig out if the code you can get for $10 for Good vs Evil, will not only give you extras but also allow you to play CoV too. Or do I need to buy a $20 CoV code to get CoV because the Good vs Evil is just for the extras w/o buying a whole new game box.
And I found out that $5 CoV from that w/e website has expired. damn it!

I think you'll have to pony up the dough for the game as well, Grif. I think the extras will only apply to whichever games you have active on your account if you purchase the $10 extras.

You know what...I think its because of GLOBAL WAR....err...damn, ok thanks Mal. I figured I couldnt be that lucky. Thanks for those who posted. Maybe later we can figure out why I keep seeing spots around. I know that dog is dead and buried.

I do still have my free month code for CoV but that is only good for one person. So you or your friend would still have to buy the game.

Just to clarify for Grif...
The 10 bucks is for those who already own both CoH & CoV and just want the extra features/bonus stuff.
The 20 bucks for the games & the bonus stuff. Is that friend good enough to you to spend an extra 10 bucks? Hehe...
