I think this is good news for some people who wanted to see prepaid cards for the game (including me). I think they are gonna offer them cause you can preorder them in some stores.

I think time cards are pretty much standard with pay to play MMOs now a days. I think the gaming companies realize that not everyone has a credit card, and they want to be able to get reach as many people as possible to the game.
I am glad though, I don't have a credit card, and so all my games are paid w/ time cards.

Good point, thejeni. I think Turbine would be shooting itself in the foot if they didn't offer this option.
