Welcome to H.E.R.O.E.S. International

The Heroic Elite Roster Opposing Enemies of Society (H.E.R.O.E.S.) is the metahuman branch of the United Nations devoted to prevent, control or solve dangers or catastrophies requiring more than normal resources to deal with. The UN and other political, economical and military organisations may be able to deal with the nuclear menace of a foreign dictatorship, but when nuclear missiles are launched and on the verge of annihilating a population... when powers ''far beyond those of mortal men'' threatens, when chaos is about to conquer civilisation... here comes H.E.R.O.E.S. Internatiional!

Although following the UN charter, HI is an independent organization of free-willed individuals banding together to contribute in their unique ways to world peace, freedom, order and prosperity, in full respect of inalienable human rights, outside of any politic and religious dogmas. for the welfare of every human being. Thus, although many members started their careers as simple vigilantes and crimefighters against notorious gangs like the Hellions and the Skulls, HI is called to deal essentially with dangers of metahuman, hypertechnology, weird science-type, extraterrestrial, extradimensional or supernatural origin; what standard autorities, in protecting the innocent, can't deal with.

As with the UN, the organization uses French (the language of Diplomacy) and English (the language of commerce)as their official languages. Each member lives by a high morality standard where courtesy, integrity, good behavior and language, perseverance and hard work, helpfullness, freedom and respect even to enemies are the cornerstones of their activities.They vow to offer their powers and their lives for the common good and the right cause.

On October 3rd 2004, the speedster-martial artist Veloce came to Paragon City when accidentally gaining his powers. There, upon offering his amazing prowess to serve as a special agent for the UN against the growing supercriminal menaces infesting the city, he founded a month later the first branch of H.E.R.O.E.S. International, with a local chill-demon-possessed citizen nicknamed Kielvin 0, and the Outworldly sorcerer known as Magefire.

Soon, other metahumans, geniuses and entities like Kinesy, Minotaur King, Charmeleon, Dan Gerous and Lord Styx flocked to their blue and red banner. In 2005, Veloce established a base of operations in Paragon City and, with the help of all the heroes with him, made it an effective center of crimefighting resources at the superhuman level.

Now, the citizens of Paragon City, and the rest of the world, breathe easier: H.E.R.O.E.S. International is here!

A new branch of H.E.R.O.E.S. International on another server? What a cool idea!

I toyed with the concept myself, thinking of a branch on every server... but running one SG is already a chore sometimes, even such a small, ''semi-active'' one as ours... and I do have a life, so I can't be on this game 24/7, or even as much as I want too.

But a new one with another leader? A new generation of heroes taking on the banner against evil? I love the idea.
And treading with the other post on this one: having other branches offering Russian and English, Chinese and English, Arabic and English, Spanish and English... What a blast it would be!

I have more than a few heroes on Liberty (even if I don't play there often)so I could always join your version of H.E.R.O.E.S. International and share adventures from time to time (a good excuse to go there in fact); maybe some of my friends would too.

So, feel free to indulge yourself... maybe you will be starting something here.

As for the original version on Guardian... Although we are not that numerous, one of our members is often on line about each and every day. These days you may find Kinesy, Scott Shield or Magefire online most often. My own characters are Veloce, Eye of the Universe, Ring Belle, Space-Man, Positron Man, BEM and Universoul on the SG; although I am currently more involved in getting my first villain to level 50, so I don't show myself on the hero's side very often... but do give us a call if you happen to see one of us.

Although we do have some strict rules concerning play and conduct (correct atitude and language, courtesy and helpfullness) we play just for the fun of it, with as few obligations as possible. We want everyone to enjoy their own game while having the basic benefits of an SG membership.

My friend who plays Magefire was himself amazed that such a ''classical'' name was available when he created his fire tanker. He's currently one of three level 50 characters in our SG (Veloce beign the other and Kielvin 0 the third one; others are on their way, slowly but surely).
