I have a lvl 36 brute, Fire/Invun, and i recently noticed the heal other badge has appeared, and is growing (albeit very slowly). WTF? anyone know whats going on? if i could figure out how its recording me healing, i could farm for badge. HELP!

If i'm not mistaken, you can collect a heal badge by healing yourself as well as others. So, if you are a Fire Brute, you have a self heal that is attributing to that badge.
The more you use it, the more the badge will go up.
I have a Claw/Nin Stalker that has the heal badge populated as well, with a very slow progressing line. Ninjitsu has a self heal in it as well.
Now, if you dipped into the medicine pool, that would help speed up the badge progression, however, if not, then I would estimate a very long and tedious self healing process.

Also known as "Fitz". He is an alcoholic, arrogant, womanizing freelancer who struggles to survive and find love in a world of danger, international intrigue, and anthropomorphic doodles. Fitz seldom answers a question directly and often relies on circumlocution, non sequiturs or insults to evade a clear response. He hangs around with his pal Skillet and drives a yellow jet fighter taxi which they use to commit crimes, stage gun fights, or rock out therewithin. Fitz displays sociopathic tendencies and seems to practice a philosophy of life heavily grounded in the 20th century existentialist movement. An excellent metal guitarist, he is often at odds with Skillet's timing on the drums.

Are you an enemy of yourself?
I never payed too much attention to the descriptions of powers and badges in CoX but I do know that in Guild Wars "target ally" always referred to any currently targetted friendly, including yourself if you had yourself targetted and "target other ally" referred to any currently targetted friendly with exception of yourself.
Soooo... knowing that, I'm not looking surprised anymore if the difference is indicated identically here. :-)

the same thing has happened on my tank. i'm 44 now and have not gotten any powers to heal anyone other than myself.
there is a very small amount of the progress bar showing for this badge and i have no idea how i got it started.

By any chance, have you guys been doing Arena matches? You can get the badges doing gladiator matches where one of your gladiators has a team heal. Mu Guardians and the Longbow Warden 2's can do this. Not sure if there are others.
And no, self heals do not count for this. If they did, all you'd have to do is pop a bunch of greens to get the badges.

I have a lvl 27 Elec/Earth Brute and just noticed this badge appear. Only heals I have are +Regen and one Self-Heal. I have been doing gladiator fights, but only with Tank Smashers, Hellfrosts, and Cobras.

I wonder if dull pain counts for that, that would be groovey since i wana get as many badges as possible but i dont want aid others with my brute i havent the time to heal when i ahve people to squash!
