Year 3 Vet rewards announced

They just announced the Year 3 Veteran Rewards...

Looks like some good stuff...and everybody needs a pet Rikti Monkey!

I'm liking the Black Wand concept...increase damage if Magic based origin....hmmm, hope they get more of this type of customization in future reward options.

A permanent Nemesis staff? I love it! That was one of my favorite temp powers of all time.

And getting a pet for the 36 month veteran rewards is so awesome. Now I guess Masterminds can have 8 pets...

No, in your first set you get 3, your second set you get 2, and finally you get 1. Plus Dark Servant, that's 7. So if you add the little pet you get it equals eight. But actually...you are right about the Necromancy having 9 pets, if you're including Soul Extraction, and like 20 pets if you're counting gang war. I only count Soul Extraction though, since that one shows up in your pet window

the 36 month one seems awesome I definatly want an Arachnos FLyer for my Base and make some giant hanger. It would great if you could also have some custom NPCs patrolling around your base to go with it

Eh...I hate the clockwork so much. ALMOST as much as the CoT. I'm just glad we don't see them in City of Villains (ignoring Siren's Call where they're 4 levels below you).

from what i know there are only a hand full of missions with clockwork in them. all come from CAP contacts i think.

Yeah, but I have had tons of guys go through Cap...those are just the ones I've done in the last week. Almost all of them different origins.

Well, you can definitely find the Clocks in Mayhem missions...the exact one eludes me at the moment. I want to say it's Steel, but I know I'd be wrong :) The more I'm thinking, it could be King's Row. I know it's one of the early one's.

However, there are some paper missions with Clocks and I know they have to spawn somewhere in some zone (just haven't worried about them, because I don't like them either).

Oh, They are definitely in the PTS worker extraction mission. That one just jumped in my head as I was typing this. Trying to remember the contact though

LOL, the gnomes do look awesome. And the demon pet's costume would be pretty easy to make as a regular costume for your character.

haha, i was right. its given by marshal brass called kidnap workers. and that mission was logged by bishop don himself.

Man those pets are groovey, i hate clockwork i really do but if i could have a pet one i could find a small liking to them, i think it would be amazing to have a rikti monkey on yourseide for a change! It would still be cool if they attacked though...

anyone know where I can find out the specifics for each of the vet rewards permanent powers, i.e. which power goes best with each origin. I looked around the site but couldn't find anything. thanks in advance.

It lists which origins each power gives bonus dmg to under effects, if it gives a bonus at all.

The Nem staff gives a bonus to science, tech and mutant.
Black wand is magic, natural and mutant I think.

Either mutant or natural gets a bonus from both.
