Well with the new update i suppose there will be a hell of alot
of rangers seeing as they are the only ones who can farm fast now xD
Traps ftw
You can also solo uW as N/MO ;)

I only use my Ranger for farming anyway, so I won't be affected!! Apparently the Veangeful Rt build still works too so i'm told.
It just means that everyone will have to adapt, and it won't be long before new builds start apearing, and with the new templates options we should be able to just download them because the builds are saved as .txt files in a templates folder.

Warrior solo runs will be ok if they don't use AoE, I have a few that I'm still sure about.
I'm still mad at ANet tho :(

Yea, you can still farm. It's just gnna be a "little" harder now. I use to always farm with my Monk. That is gone now. But I'll find something else. ^^

What about warriors? Could I still farm UW on my warrior? Woulda tried it out when i was on but I didnt have the time :/

During last nights Update. The Monster AI was updated. Now when they get to a certian amount of health they will run away, til they start to regen. But there is an added plus, they will stick around if your near death. ^^

Ya, i'll have to try it out.....gotta play Silkroad Online for an hour for my dad :/(PS: Silkroad SUX!.....that game is all about lvl, and its hard to get above lvl 50 without spending money on it)

Just curious here to find out how intelligent these creatures really are now. When you shiroken farm the damage is done not as a counter to them attacking, but instead the result in the attack is energy degen for them and all of the surrounding creatures. The energy degen is actually what causes the damage, but that damage is caused by the enemy's ally's.
Are they smart enough to realize this chain of events and run away. I heard someone say that the shiroken farming still worked. Am I wrong here?

shiroken works still, i tried it first thing when i logged in. Solo UW with bonder seemed to work in terms of you not dying, but dmg dealing is hard to time. And as for warriors, i just went on a "quick" vermin farm, used to take 10 mins tops to get 2k, i got bored after 10 mins and got 500g, it still works but a snail might overtake you while doing it.

Well if shiroken still work I bet some people will start to work on duo teams with a ranger that has famine. That may work in other places as well. You just may be able to keep the aggro since the damage is a third level effect. (that is unless shiroken only works because famine is a enemy spirit)

Just thought about it hero's with famine!!!!!! Now a new effective way to SB farm. You could even send in the hero to die after he casts famine so you get all the drops like before!!! May even work faster than SB, SoJ farming worked before anyway.

That wouldnt give you all the drops, to get all the drops, they must die off screen. I've tested this with henchies, when the were offscreen I got all the drops, if they were on my radar, they would still get drops.

this is just an idea i was there when the up happened but couldnt test out. r builds will prob have to use powerfull 1v1 attacks contantly.
On the other hand i think farming was changed like this because NF quests will prob give out more money then factions

Good point, Oh well you still may be able to farm and get half of what you do right now. Better than the doom and gloom scenario some are claiming right now.
