Sonic

well i made a sonic Corrupter today when i realized that sonic/sonic would make a much better defender, u get Bubs AND debuffs. so does anyone know anything about Sonic/Sonic? is it worth it?

Dont you mean a sonic/sonic blaster?

Or are you in the wrong gameamp? if your character is a corrupter go on over to the CoV gameamp.

I have made a sonic/sonic defender and so far Im loving it. I looked at Sonic resonance for another post and relaized it looked pretty cool, kind of a nice mix of the other secondaries. Also sonic blast has been working out pretty good. It's attacks are all pretty middle of the road on evreything, damamge, recharge, accuracy, and are doing just fine. I'll keep you posted.

I'm planning on making a Sonic defender. I'll most likely take Sonic as my secondary just because I like the set. The Sonic Blast set is okay. Some people don't like the lack of a snipe, but I can live without it. If memory serves, the sonic attacks have a -res effect which is nice.

Yes they do, and it's pretty affective. The one that anchors on an ally is cool too, Sonic Haven. The one mish I've done since getting that the tank said he noticed a real difference. I think it's gonna be a real fun powerset. what server you planning on doing it on Path?

Not sure. I was teaming with someone the other night that mentioned an all-Defender SG but I forgot which server it was on. I'm all out of space on Triumph unless I delete one of my rarely played alts there..... I'm planning on generating a couple toons tonight and I'll be looking to make them on servers where I can join a good SG or have a decent group to run with, so if any of you have a server that you run on a lot or have an SG on, let me know ASAP...please.

You are more than welcome to come on over to Virtue. Marine and Delphon are there, too. So thats 3 ampers, and I'm pretty sure White Hot Flash has a couple toons on Virtue, as well. So you'll have a couple people you can play with. Also, my main SG, The Asgardian League, is now recruiting members, so if you want to join a group, you are more than welcome.

I rolled a Sonic/Sonic on Champion with a RL friend of mine. I'm looking to make another Sonic/?? def somewhere, so that might happen on Virtue or Guardian. I'll be honest, I've got a bunch of toon concepts and I'm best served getting them at least created now so I don't forget them.

PS: I'll be posting to the alt-oholic thread later today, once I have a list of all my characters........ :)

I have a couple of toons on Virtue also. But I am one of the leaders of a really good SG on Guardian also, The Wrecking Crew. And my Sonic/Sonic is on Protector. And yes Singularity, I did mean disruption feild. I'm old, the mind tends to slip at my age.

You can't make a sonic/sonic blaster. You can't get the Sonic buff set with blasters. He was just thinking of taking the corruptor powers, just switching them around so you get the buffs first, attacks later.

I recently made a ringer/def on Victory...was bored one evening and thought I would try something new. I am partial to def so Ms Dixie was born. I have been pleasantly surprised by her solo and teaming ability. the only complaiant I have gotten so far when teaming is some one found the sound annoying. Oh Well
