So yeah....now they've gone and made running harder, adding certain monsters that follow you without fail and attack you along the way....an suggestions as to how we can break this aggro....a AOE loophole to get them to run and then dust them off the screen perhaps, I'm not sure, help, please.

This has happened to me while doing IDS runs, the aviracara follow me to the cave and I die :( I don't think there is anything we can do, its all part of Anets plan to destroy our economy :)

well i found that if i ran really really fast, they left me alone. The 25% buffsw don't seem to bother them, BUT dodge and zodjuns haste which is +33% seem to get the little bu**ers to leave you alone.

Yea i dislike it too, especially for treasure running in Witmans folly, i got a grawl crone that follows me into the parts with azure shadows, i get poisoned and enchantments rippped off me :( its not just affecting farming but other sides of the game

chest runs = farming in a way.
You need to be able to control aggro better now.

yea i got just past the tundras had avicara chasing me still from the res point, ran into the good old hyl thunderwing(if u aint been ids run u wont know how much of a ba***** he is) got past him and was chased all the way down to the bridge where the other boss spawns :S finally shook them off with some evasive manouvers ran into the next group heading up the hill leading to the cave and got ownd. this is going just a little too far, something has to be done...first my ss,then my nuker now my runner.
Btw i had charge and/or sprint on me all the way and they still managed to keep up with me.

they're not making the game any harder. They're just making the people who only farm and run go back to playing the game. They're making it so that players can't just go out, farm and/or run, and make a crazy amount of money for doing nothing hard at all. And yes, I have run before, but only guild members, and only because they claim to need to get to a certain place. I don't run for money, so I know what I'm talking about.

Have you tried to run?
A lvl 20 warrior (I was getting a run to beacons) had a whole pathway worth of monsters following him (35+) because the aggro system is cooked.
Ya you might say "Play the game then" so your telling me you never got ran anywhere? Or rushed past a mob?
