| "There and Back Again" a Grinders Tale |

It always seems, at least for me, That I end up rushing thru whatever content the Game devs cook up.
I always start out wanting to soak up everything around me and level at a steady pace. The next thing I know I am grinding to the next level.
With Vanguard, once again, my goal is not to be in a hurry. I have promised myself that I will not look at any “Help sight” unless I have spent a million hours trying it myself first. Okay, a million hours is over kill but you get the picture. I don't want this game to be a flashback. I guess savor is the word I am looking for.
Maybe if there any “stop and smell the roses” type of players here, we could start a help group, and you guys can “talk me down” when I start to grind.....:)

Haha, don't worry. You are in save company. In my 5 year plus of adventuring in MMORPG's I only got one character to the highest level. And that took me over a year to accomplish, while I know you can do it a month. I am all about the journey, and care less for the endgame. And I know several other Ampers that will play this game are exactly the same. Probably there are plenty of grinders going to be around too, but we will try to protect you from them :)

I'm on the same page as Pedre. I like to take it slow and enjoy the game the way it was meant to be. The Dev's worked hard on this game, and it would be a shame to run through everything without noticing the fine details of the world.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Not me. I try to read the quests and enjoy the lore and all that, but I'm much more of an eye candy type person. I like fancy graphics and pretty spell effects and pictures. I don't really grind at all even though I tend to push for the next level. If a game comes to the point where I have to grind in order to level up within a reasonable period of time, I'll usually start to lose interest in the game.
