Hi guys and gals. I want to know what you would most like to see added to the WoW gameamp website. What do you think would just give us that lil extra something to make you truly just fall in love with us.
Tell me what you want, It may lead to us getting exactly that.

I saw you talking about getting the devs to make a talent calculator, which is very nice to have.
How about...deleting old friends?
And...oh I don't know...maybe a Outland World Map???(:p you know you love me...)
But I can't think of anything really, just the talent calculators and the outlands world map...OH! It has to have a GREEN link!!! :)

i agree talent calculator would be nice:D
The site is pretty complete so I dunno. Be nice to have some information on Burning Crusade. LIke whatever is gathered could be found on one link instead of bunch of diff site and wtv. I dunno just a thought

So what your saying is rather than the BC FAQ mor eof a compilation of all information on BC or something to that extent, right?

I think an IRC room would be fun, but unlikey, it could be used for those little questions that people start a whole new topic for on... Other than that, not much.

ok maybe this is a noob type question but do you mean IRC like a chat room? That would be nice, the administrators could be in it when we are logged on the site and answer simple questions that dont need a forum topic, yeah. That would be cool.

Yeah dru, IRC is a chat room, but it's complicated to me, I've never figured out how to log on to one...The link sare weird too.
And yeah, instead of a FAQ for BC, a mini site or page of info could be neat.

yea i meant kind of a lil part of the site. FAQs, i mean in general, are boring to read.
I use to have IRC but i ended up idling there more then anything. Its a good way to have quick questions answered and maybe form groups for a games. But considering noone else is on my server here, wont be much use for me eheh Still ive seen lots of fansite havin IRC Channel.

Two things that would be nice.
One a monster list with monster vulnerabilities. In other words what do you have to do to kill the darn thing. Use such and such magic, such and such weapon . . . etc.
Another thing I would like to see is where in the world are certain herbs located. When your looking around for these herbs they like to hide and just knowing the general location for these herbs would be helpful.

a general herb location list is not a bad idea at all. I'll see what I can do about that one....Possibly even take it further than that....herb locations & mine locations ordered by zone.

For a price check, you'd need to do by server... Lots of items, lots of servers... Still, a rough guide like on Allakhazam couldn't hurt.
Anyway, is there currently a Hints and Tips section on this part of gameamp (Small hints too short to be guides but still worth knowing)?

I like the idea about a chat room. Im not a big fan of using forums and a chat room is a nice way to get help quickly.

Sadly we won't be getting a chat room. That would require a ton more staff so it could be monitored 24/7. And we really don't have that kind of man power.

Yeah your right there but wouldn't a report system work just fine? So if someone is being harrassed they can report the harrasser and it will send you guys the chat room convo and then you can suspend or ban them from the site/chat room.

Well unlike most sites, we do not allow personal attacks on GameAmp. Our forums are moderated to the best of our ability, and we do ban for flaming. When it comes to chat rooms and real time convos a bad convo can turn into a flame very quickly if not supervised (I've seen it happen many times).
And honestly with over 100,000 members on GameAmp, even going through the "reported" incidents would be quite a task.

Aside from PM's, which are moderated to a certain extent on GameAMP, IRC does allow you to have text scripts running. I know that as a SYSOP for a certain game (name withheld to protect my identity), I had a script running as I idled, 24/7, that detected specific words and phrases, and based on offense level, would kick/ban/kline people. This is also effective to just run bots. I'm mildly informed in the ways of mIRC.
