Im looking for new Ideas for Paragon Builds. Im running with a few basic spear attacks, 2 heals, Ward-Foe, Ward-Melee & Rez, but I dont think I'm really using the paragon for its intended purpose.
Anyone have anything they want to share?

for now I use a build mostly based on spear and I don't think it's in the way of paragon
but you can check it if you want

I'm currently running a P/R. It's a burn/poison + bleed build. Drop's enemies quickly, while still buffing my team up.
Currently my attributes are as follows (not sure if I have +30)
Wilderness: 10
Spear Mastery: 10
Leadership: 11 + 1
Skills:
Barbed Spear - Bleeding 12 second
Blazing Spear - +15 damage, burning 2 seconds
Disrupting Spear - Disrupts Conditioned Foes
"They're On Fire" - 41% less damage from burning foes,20 seconds
Anthem of Flame - Allies in earshot 10 seconds next attack skill causes burning for 3 seconds
Leader's Comfort - +66HP and +18 for each ally in earshot
Troll Unguent - +8 HP Regen
Apply Poison - For 254 seconds, your attacks cause poison for 11 seconds
This is a team build, but I find it to be very effective in degen'ing a PvE enemy to death fast. I haven't tried in PvP, and I likely won't since I don't PvP. Just wanted to share it with you, and see if anyone else has any good P/? builds.
I originally had a P/E, but there are a lot of high cost spells in elementalist and I just couldn't support my habit of spell casting, so I changed to Ranger...like it so far.

I haven't gotton too far in the game yet; but, I have played around with a few skills. The only thing I have to say about the above build is that leaders conform seems to take to long to cast. The one of the other spells you get rigth off the start that heals a team mate plus you if you have no enchantments seem to work for me. Good luck expirementing though

Quite right Johnny, it does take a bit to cast. However, the skill you speak of (Synergy Signet I believe), falls under the attribute of motivation. I have no attribute points spent in Motivation, so I went with the Leaders Conform.

I use a P/W and i f-in love it.
Skills:
Leaders Comfort
Agressive Refrain <-> Lightbringers Gaze
The non elite wounding spear skill (whatever that is lol)
Blazing Spear
Incoming
Stand Your Ground
Watch Yourself
Res Sig
When all 3 defensive shouts are up at once my teammates take nearly 0 damage from attacks. And I use watch yourself to keep up agressive refrain. sweeet

There is a damage dealing build HERE that works wonders in PvP although I'm not sure about PvE.
The following is a rough idea of a paragon build i came up with while playing through the game
Attributes
3 Tactics
9 Spear Mastery
10 Command
16 Leadership
Skills
Blazing Finale
“They’re on fire!”
Anthem of Flame
Watch Yourself
Defensive Anthem (or Incoming if extra points are put on command)
“Never give up!”
“Never surrender!”
Basically you cast Blazing finale an a warrior/dervish with attack skills ,“they’re on fire!” and anthem of flame. As soon as anthem of flame is cast order your henchmen/team to attack, from then on just cast skills as they come up with Blazing Finale being cast on (in priority order) attack warriors/dervishes, monks, other casters, yourself. You may see that the build doesn’t have enough shouts to keep up the burning, that’s where a shout paragon comes in handy so I always keep the paragon henchman in my group.
This build is very effective in nullifying major damage from the beginning of the fight onwards as long as the enemies are on fire, they deal 39% less damage. This build made *spoilers* Shiro on the gate of madness *end* as easy as taking a number two.

Welcome to Gameamp Rusyt!!
In response the this thread, I've been running a paragon with mark of rodgort, they're on fire, and conjure flames. Though you need a fiery spear, It deals alot of damage and it buffs the team by continuously having tof up.
edit: Didn't see govtmorgue's post on this build, whoops. Think of it as doubly emphasizing the usefullness of this build.

I wasnt either really, but you dont have much choice at the beginning... IMHO, you play more like a ranger, with less energy and adrenal skills. I have neglected my para for a while now working other characters around the various chapters, but i want to play a bit with the paragon as more of a buff character.

The only build i came up with was a P/W Spear para with all spear skill and frenzy or any other speed buff skill. But the problem is that i don't think it ca ndo enough damage for a real damage dealer build but so waht i had great fun with it.
it goes like this i think:
12-16 spear mast
the rest was unused...
Frenzy
Spirit of Lighting
Barbed Spear
Blazing Spear
Cruel Spear [E] - Stunning Strike [E]
Merciless Spear - Wild Throw
W/e
The Res Sig
Once adrenaline was chaged up it could really mess someone with all the cond but as for now the damage wont be so great.
peace
