Well i guess the only one to blame is me. 3 days before nightfall was released I decided to invest in some black dye. From the pattern i saw with the factions release i assumed black dye would go for around 15-20k. So i bought 4 and every day i saw the price fall. 12k...10k....8k now this double dye weekend is going to ruin my investment all together. I have a total of 7 black dyes that are now loosing me money daily. Do you guys think i should sell them now, or sit on em for awhile??

You might as well keep them and use them for later. All I can say is, do more economy research before deciding to do something like that again, and once more people start getting Primeval armor, perhaps they'll raise. At this raate you might as well just use it yourself though.

keep it for another while,but i believe price won't go up dramatically,since many ppl now want white dye instead

I'd hold onto it for a few months. Unless Elona just has a higher black dye drop rate for some reason, I don't see the price going much lower. Hold onto it for a couple weeks and if the price is still heading down, sell to players.

I would sell them asap then buy them back when they are really cheap and finally wait a few months and see what happens, then hopefully you will make a profit.

Yup, I bought 10 for the same reason, spent a nice 100K(bought them for 10k each) and now the trader is down 2k from when I bought them. If anet didnt bring out white dyes, then I could probably make some gold off of them. I'm hoping they at least come back up to the price I bought them at, that way I dont totally lose out.

It may look bad right now, but I'll bet that when alot of people start crafting 15k, and 10k sets they will come back to black. After all there is only one way to make black... People have been making white for ages >_>

yeah bad news for you...I dont think anyone expected this white dye to come out. This iwll ruin a lot of people, nut just you, but think of it this way...ummmmmmm at least you ummmm have dye that is blsck to dye things ummm black and stuff...yeah..

I have been playing Guild Wars for what seems like forever and have yet to get a black dye drop. I logged on to NF for like 5 minutes and got a white dye. Woot!
:D
My advice with the black is sell sell sell. Get out while you can or you will be stuck holding those dyes forever!
Unless you dye all ur armor black that is. :D
