This weekend is double dye drop in Elona as you can see logging in but shouldn't they fix the stacking problems first? Last I checked some of my dye still weren't stacking right.
Double Dye Weekend 31 October 2006
This weekend, you will have double the chance of scoring a dye drop in Elona. Come to the land of Nightfall and stock up on dyes for all your new characters. The event starts at Noon PST on Friday, November 3rd, and runs through 11:59 p.m. PST on Sunday, November 5th. Truly, this is an event to dye for.
Sorry but I just checked, the dye still won't stack correctly so they have yet to fix it.

Well i dont have a problem with stacking dyes, but i hope they get it fixed in time!

I'm not having any problems stacking dyes. The only one I had a problem with was the one from the "To Dye For" quest and it seemed it was priced different, so it was probably considered a different item.

Not sure what caused that cause I got a purple dye which I sold(as I have so many already).
Though I havnt had a problem with old/new dyes stacking, just today i've gotten yellow, blue, orange and green which all stacked fine with stacks that I had pre-factions(yes I have kept them that long).

It is a bug that happened with the dye update. All old dye will not stack with new dye. It is a problem currently being fixed. :)

Read my above post, i've had dyes for months and they stack fine with the new dyes. I would say this is a "random bug" as in it doesnt always happens, but it is still there.

i have no problems with new dyes stacking with old ones either. mine stack just fine, only thing iv noticed is when i get a new dye, it doesnt automatically stack with a previous pile of the same color when i pick it up; i have to drag/drop to make it stack.

Can't get my dyes to stack...
I've tried a lot of options:
* stack new dye on old ones in backpack
* stack old dyes on new one in backpack
* stack new dye on old ones in storage
* stack old dyes on new one in storage
* trade dye to (trusted) friend and have him stack'em
* trade dye back to me and try first four again
Now I'm just gonna be lazy and wait for Anet to solve it =]
Till then... I'll just stuff all dyes in a mule-character!

I have been having dye troubles, so have alot of people, according to Gaile Gray this should be fixed some time today.

Well....I got pissed off enough at my dyes not stacking that I sold a black, red, purple, 2x orange and a yellow to the dye trader. I'm keeping the rest of them for now in hopes that they will soon stack. Otherwise, I'll either have to make 2 stacks of dyes or sell off all the new ones I get. I have too many old ones to get rid of them.

DYES STACK AGAIN! With the exception of the quest reward one. Thanks to the new build they properly stack, and other fixes are in there too.

At least you guys get enough dye drops you're able to ATTEMPT to stack them. Been in GW off and on (mostly off) since beta and haven't really seen that many dyes drop for any of my characters :p

This was a post on Thursday, November 2. The update was on Thursday, November 2. I posted this minutes after the update came up, so this is extremely recent, more recent than everyone that's already posted here. So, I hope for everyone else's sake (I have no problems stacking dyes >_>) that this has been resolved.

Dyes do stack... its a new system involved in stacking dyes!
1.. Click on the dye you want to use (I.E. Red). Put it on the armor piece you want to select. (head, body, gloves, legs , shoes )
2..When the window appears, you will notice the box with 4 slots in which you can put other dyes in to make other combinations. just DRAG AND DROP !!
3... See now that was not hard to figure out!

Thats not stacking there m8...Thats mixing dyes for your armor...
Stacking we mean is put dyes in your Storage...
You could have 250 of the same dyes in the same stack..but for some reasons for some people it dont work...
(Nice guide for MIXING dyes btw ;)
