anyone know what them icons at the top of the inv do?---
and also, can i still use halloween items like the candy corn transformer and ghost in the box after halloween?

That is part of the new UI, brought for Nightfall. Even though you might not have Nightfall, you sitll have it. Those boxes are for your 3 Heros you can have in your party. :)
For Example;
You see the Boxes in the User Inventory and for the Skills and Attributes windows. :)

Not Exactly. Only the Helmets are customized. :) The Collector items can be used forever by any character, you can even sell them if you wish. ^^

you can even stack the new on old, like take a small stack of witche's brew from this year on a stack from last year

obviously you haven't been to a Gaile chat, lots of meanies scaring me with their items(had to hide behind Mimori) so you can use them as long as you haven't used them...

Actually, i THINK even those with only prophecies or factions can get a hero. Harrow doesnt have nightfall yet, and even though he used gen's buddy key, he has used that up cause he cant go back to elona(on a new char). BUT he got his new assassin the assassin hero the other day(after he used the key up) he can also get the quest to get Olias. And his monk still has Olias(from the update when the quest was putup too early). He can still use them too, just like if he had NF, but again, he doesnt.
EDIT: Someone with a prophecies/factions only account, think you could test this out? Go to Lionguard Figo on the LA docks and see if you can get the quest for Olias.(not sure where the assassin hero is obtained from)

you can get Olias and the 'sin, plus Dunkoro, Jin and Dunkoro in an AB from a priest of Balthazar, so you can get about 1/3 of the available heroes.

Tell that to Harrow..........2 days ago I was running him and he brought his assassin hero along with him, and he still doesnt have Nightfall. If ya want, I can get on his account later and show ya :)
