A friend of mine suggested to play this game 10mins a day to improve aim. http://www.missionred.com/index.php?game_d...8e3a53ae333674a
He said that stryfe and many other pros used it to imrove. What do you guys think? Does it work or is it just placebo effect?

if it wasnt ridiculously laggy (for me) it might be good practice for just eye-> mouse movement ... but then again so is filling Gael with bots on instagib on like 120% speed with god mode on...

lol I seriously doubt any 'pros' have ever played that to actually get better at games. Fun game though.
It's not enough to succeed, others must fail.

New game, this one's 1337: Phosphor Alpha
UT-like FPS ownage in Shockwave. If you're using FireFox, make sure you have the option to allow sites to install software turned on so you can get the Shockwave Director plugin (if you don't have it already). 3.6MB download.

Hehe, nice link.
For a new ut2k4 player I think the extra hand/eye coordination would help them a lot.
As for some of us vets, I rely on Instagib DM to improve my game :)

instagib is the best way to practice aim, no doubt but invasion is also good for learning how to dodge and move to avoid getting killed. Both these skills are important in owning at TAM or TDM

If you want to get better at aiming..Do what I did..play 1 vrs 1 against %FP% Massrefuge%..Insta has nothing on him.... www.flatlinerz.fp4ever.org. :)

Arenas are the best way to work on AIM not IG... pick the gun you want to work on ie shock/LG then play large groups of ppl in ffas....

Arena....hmm..maybe..but I'll take a TDM server with shields and viles ..where it takes more hits to kill .. as my choice of a practicing feild. It also has alot to do with personal settings and the skill level of your competition. Certian custom arena maps are great however...I.M.O. Actually..being consistan in playing is helpful as well. Just playing on some level everyday is bound to help.
