i hope im not offending people
but i hafta say this, some people DO deserve to die, and now one of them is

He will apeal it, so he wont be hung for another year, and by some slim chance if he does get off, we are preparing another case against him
p.s. i love the method of choice for capital punishment, incase you guys dont know, its death by hanging

omg hanging thats it, me and my friends at my luch table thought of the most grusome 3 step way to kill some1
step1- draw and coorter them (tie their arms adn legs to hourse which runin diffrent directions), but thern sauder the stumps shut, so they live
step 2- dip them in acid (any type) and keep them there till they almost die
step 3-cut open their chest and pull out their heart and hold it infront of their face till it stops beating
if i need to edit this tell me

Normally I'm against such a method of punishment (prefer the idea of needle or electrocution). And I'm usually not privvy to the idea of the death sentence at all in most cases. In this case however, i have to say, i hope the noose doesn't break his neck on the fall and that he has to hang there dangling until he cant breathe anymore =P. Just wish it were Osama up there on the stand with him!

I live in England and this is what they did to people about 100 years ago. Draw and coorter was done all the time. and the thing with the rat wasnt unusual(i think). Another thing they used to do was cut ur Tounge and d**K off with big blunt scissors *owch* (Took more then 1 cut)

I'll be very surprised if they televise it in the U.S. Last public execution here was in 1936 according to wiki, and I bet a televised execution counts as a public one.

For myself, I'm an European, and I totally disagree with you here Albino, death sentence isn't rightful, and it will never be...
Even though he is guilty all you do by killing him is taking revenge. You don't do any justice, it's just blood for blood. Where is the morality in that? Where have the forgiveness gone, the moralists, the GOOD in people gone?

I also tend to find it somewhat disturbing that America is the nation in the world with the highest amount of religious people (especially Christians) and also at the same time have the highest rate of people which is sentenced to death.
Kinda funny to think of really, that the people who try to tell you to be nice and do to others as you want them to do to yourself, is the ones who are most eager on death sentence...
perhaps a bit illogical?

lock him in solitary confinement, endlessly looping the teletubbies song. maybe put him in a padded cell with a straitjacket so he can't hurt himself.

And I agree with the others, the Death Penalty is never justified. You won't achieve anything by killing someone rather than locking them up forever.

I am not religous at all, maybe thats why I support the death penalty. But I personaly think its a completely logical punishment. For instance, I think even murder'ers should be put on death row, even if they only killed 1 person. Dont do to anyone what you wouldnt want done to yourself.

Is this really the thread (or site, for that matter) to flame the United States? There are Americans in the Gameamp community, so why don't we just lay this topic to rest instead of adding fuel to the fire?

America= World Police, on both good and bad. the U.S is so influentual on many big cases, but unfortunately, sometimes things go wrong. Iraq is just one example. A better example perhaps is the Israel vs Hizballah war, which turned out to be much bloodier and much more damagind for the Syrian infrastructure. US could have prevented Israel from going further in, and/or helped out the discussion, instead of letting the war rage on until several billions of Syrian houses and roads and etc were destroyed.
But of course, America haven't done everything wrong. But hey, nobody is perfect, aight? =)

But how do you define what's a murder and what is not? Isn't it a murder that we, people from wealthy countries can't be arsed to supply the third world countries with basic human needs like clean water,food and medical supplies WITHOUT stuffing them up with propaganda like our religion (You'll get educated if you succumb to our religion).
After all, it's us who drove them to those inhuman conditions with our nationalism, capitalism and the illusion of being better than them, before the World War 1?O.o

Sorry if came out like that but it wasn't intended.
But there's a problem with that:
It is not right to say a bad word about America BUT it is right to cheer at a non-American getting killed? There just might be some Iraqi in GA community and he might be just as offended by the original post as you're about the things said about the US.
