Aggro Circle Problem

Recently i have been expirencing some problems with my Aggro circle (The little circle around your dot on the mini-map for those that dont know). It seems that it thinks it is twice the size it is. When i was in Arborstone (Explorable Area) I was aggroing a group that was well out of my aggro circle anywhere between 2-3 times my circle away. This hasnt happened to me at arborstone usually the group just goes back to its spot and keeps to it self but whenever i get within 2 aggro circles of it the whole group will aggro right to me and start hitting me, then i'll move out a little and it'll go back to normal. So after playing chicken with that group for awhile i got fed up and decided to see if anyone is having the same problem or has had the problem in the past. So anyone having/had this problem?

RE: Aggro Circle Problem

The only thing I can think of that has happened to me like this is that occasionally after I have attacked a group and run away, if I approach them again, they will aggro back onto me way too early. This is extremely frustrating sometimes, because the only time I ever need to run away is when my entire party is dead and I am trying to use rebirth on them. It doesn't work very well if they attack before you get within aggro range.

Ive had similar, was trying out a 55/Famine build with a guildie at droks, and the trolls were coming after me when i was 2-3 aggro circles away :( they shouldn't have even seen me from where i was.

Bug?

EDIT: should make mention that i was the famine ranger :P

Yup, I got the same problem too since the updates that nerfed farming. I think the aggro circle is twice its size also. Because of that updates it makes my day easier during mission and quest so far. Why? Because The Enemies Healer come up to say Hi alone within the twice the size of aggro circle.

lol That bug always freaks me out >_<

It's happened to me a few times and what I think is going on is A-Net's AI system. They've gotten smarter (hence the last big update) and now what I think is that they "setup" some kind of "watch" after being attacked. It's just me thinking, but maybe the AI is more aware to you after a minor skirmish.

Good i'm not the only one, Ya i think the ritualist was on watch in the group that was looking for me cuz he would attack me as soon as he got into spell casting range.
