| Biggest mistake youve made in Guild Wars? |

Hey, i'm justing wondering if any1 here has made a bigger "oops" then me. Mine so far is...
I bought the colectors editions and retrived my Mini-Varesh. I misspelled my name on my Dervish and Deleted (yes) my Dervish witch still had the mini-varesh.
A good 80k down the hole.
So, has any1 made a bigger blunder then I?

I was selling merchandise at a merchant, well I was selling stuff and sudenly a lag spike, The game froze, I started to frantically click on the sell button, well a second later, everything in my inventory was gone. Two Superior Id kits, a sup salvage kit, a stack of three ectos, a Ruby, an obsidian shard, a whole crapload of dyes, lots of weapons, including a Sundering Stormbow of fortitude, and several runes. I had pulled out many of these items only seconds earlier to profit from the fact that most of these things were going for alot of money right now with the traders and players.

i had a sin with max armor in Kaineng (first and only char to get it), and decided to try and see if customized armor can be worn by sum1 with the same name. so he loses his armor, and i delete him. lost 20k plus my highest level char. and i was ABing one day, got paid 4k for every 5k faction donated, so I hd 12k, and deltde the PvP char >.<

I think he meant one stack of 3 ectos. If I'm wrong and it was 750 ectos....if it were me...my computer would be in several hundred charred pieces buried in my backyard :D
Edit* Forgot to put my biggest mistake
I've always been real careful with everything I do, but one night a few months ago I was in a hurry and sold 3 ecto's to a scammer whose name was something like "Adfskdf dfkj" for 19gp instead of 19k. Got me a little annoyed, but I don't really care. :)
(Glad A-Net changed the "gold" part of the trade menu)

One time I got scammed by some stupid korean guy out of 57k. I was selling a Sup Vigor + and ecto, and this was when Sup Vigor was really expensive, and the same thing happened. They did the 57g trick to me. It also didnt help that it was 3 am and I wasn't very alert when this happen and it took me a couple minutes to realize what i had just done.

I would have to say naming my first character, a warrior, Morve Aeris. I hate the name Morve now, so I now name all my characters Aeris The ___. (Aeris the Shaman, Aeris the Desolate)

When I started playing GW (my first MMO), I thought "farming" meant "bot farming" because I read an article about Lineage and its bot farmers before playing. XD It took me a week before I learned what it really meant..
I sure feel stupid about talking to people about it.

OMG!!! we must ban jade!!! (tho hes a good person and rpobly kidding, like me)
my worst thing was either selling 4 10/10 victos axes for 1k ea. b4 the update that made them 20/20 or when io was really newb selling a perfect brute sword for 5k...but back then 5k was godly lol...ah the first days after release....

I've never really made a "Big" mistake. I did how ever merchant a Req 8, 15^50, +30, 10/10 Storm Bow one time. xD I guess my most recent, was more or less, couriousity. I salvaged an Ecto, I was hoping for atleast 10 dust, but all I got was 1 dust. :(

You can salvage salvage items? I wouldn't even think that would be possible. I can see what would make you do it.
Oh, and I was just joking about not making mistakes. I'm sure I make my fair share, but I make sure to forget about them shortly thereafter so I don't feel bad. The most recent one I remember is deleting the broken toy when the mini-giant quest was broken. But that was fixed thanks to Mr. Manly Monk, great guy.

well i did do it once when i first started playing and I did figure out that it wasnt right.. I Learned by the conscience that I was going to spend my time making sure that other people dont do what I did. There is ways to make the money and it is called playing the game :P I actually think doing this helped me, because I woundt be the kind of gameamp supporter and EULA supporter that I am now :P

My mistake is that when the game first came out some 17-18 months ago I first started off with a necro. Then I made a bunch of other characters (gotta try em all ya know?). Got pretty far with her too. But then stoppd using and eventually deleted her. Finally sometime later when UW and FoW became super super popular did i learn my mistake....=S. Besides small mistakes here and there thats my biggest one along with my biggest regret cuz im constantly too busy with RL these days to commit to more than one character at a time.

Well, I thought that too, at first. However, I don't feel stupid. I just feel a bit let down that there wasn't a Harvest Moon element in Guild Wars. (That thing on Shing Jea Island where you plant some beans for that farmer doesn't count.)
I think a nice enhancement for guild halls would be to have a garden.

I have yet to make any critical errors in Guild Wars. I've had a few 'ugh' moments, though when salvaging perfect mods from crappy items, FOR EXAMPLE, I go FoW chest running got a shadow bow, gold, not max req 12 had a perfect fortitude mode, so what do I do? Okay let's salvage it. *click* 7 wood T_T

most of what i do is merchant stuff, i have merchanted two black dyes relatively recently.
plus i once went fow with my dragon hat still on, i died just before the cave but still got two shards lol.

My big mistake turned out ok in the end.
my now guild leader was buying ectos and i had somehow gotten one in the first couple weeks of playing (from those nightmares in bloodstone fen or the wilds... i cant remember right now >.<) so i was going to sell it to her for 1k but she told me how much they were really worth and let me into her guild, of which im now an officer ^_^
ohh yeah... i forgot about this one... i made the wrong obsidian armor for my monk, so now i have all athetics except for my hands which are + health >.<
