1984

This is essentially 2 topics rolled into one. I haven't yet read 1984 by Orwell, though I can't wait to get the chance to having just finished reading Animal Farm. Anyone else here read 1984?

Topic Numero Dos: I just found this Apple Commercial from back in the Triassic Era and it made me laugh.

RE: 1984

George Orwells 1984 is classic...

I guarantee if you liked Animal Farm you will like it as well.

The story made such an impact because it was so realistically possible that it created a term in our lexicon "Orwellian State" that is used to describe similar situations in the real world.

Read it, think about it... it's not only possible but we could be in the early stages of such an Orwellian State and not even recognize it or worse yet consider it a possibility... it's that insidious...

A bit about the man and his works:

Big Brother is watching you...

...And do not think he doesn't know about this post, if he were to edit it then it would add solidity to his existance, he still hasn't got enough control...

Wait a moment, someone is knocking at my door... be right back...
