ok not sure if its in the right place but i just had an idea.
city of heroes murphy's law. eg
If there is a possibility of several groups being arrgoed at once, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to be aggroed. Corollary: If there is a worse group that can cause more damage that cannot be seen someone will aggro that 1st.
go nuts guys mine is a little crap but see if you can do some better ones.

The problem with the "anchor" is that most people choice the wrong mob to be the anchor. Most people put the debuff on the boss, and then the team proceeds to kill all the minions and lieutenants.
As a tank, I can't stand it when people tell me what NOT to kill because THEY choice to put the debuffing effect on the wrong enemy. Why the hell would I let the most deadly enemy live the longest? The one that can do the most damage, stun more frequently, or worse yet; summon more minions to have to fight.
Debuff a lieutenant and take down the boss, then concentrate on the other pissants. That way the tank doesn't have to constantly taunt something he's not "supposed" to attack.

er this is supposed to be a very non serious, funny joke thread about coh murpheys law, although you are correct technically about the anchor. in this thread your supposed to be making fun of things that always happen, one of them being people always killing the anchor no matter what it is. or how many times you tell they why not too hehe.

Invariably, one out of every eight blasters will decide that an AoE is a perfectally suitable power to use to pull minions away from the boss. Chaos follows.
Invariably, one out of ever twenty people rezed by the healer will "accidentally" auto-run right back into the mob.

Your can't hit the broad side of the barn with you best attacks but your basic punch hits all the time.
Or better yet this has actually happened to me. When you need it the most you miss with every attack against a minion 15 times. Talk about the odds of that happening and I was even slotted with accuracy.

Your fighting in a tough battle and you got the baddie down to a pixel of health and you still got 10 pixels of life left and you are tp'd away out of battle only to find the baddie back to full health when you return to finish the job!
