Ok I got an odd question for you all. A long while back when the WB use to be the WB and not the CW that it is now, they had this special report about a family being taken by aliens and it was all caught on home video by the family themselves. It didn't show them being actually taken, but it showed them being attacked by the aliens. I don't know if I'm the only one who saw this because I'm all about the Alien/Paranormal stuff and if something like that is on TV, you bet your sweet ass I'm gonna be watching it.
It was like in Maine or some other back woods area where your neighbors are like a half mile away and all you got is woods around you or in your backyard. The family see's a weird object in the sky that disappears un the woods, they get the camera and go out to see what's up. They find a space ship out there and you can see the aliens walking around sorta, then they all haul ass back home. From there the aliens start doing stuff to their house, the lights get shut off and a probe comes in which makes everyone hide. It ends with the camera man running into a room, turning around to shut the door and the alien is right there behind the door and the camera man freezes. The alien walks up to the camera, grabs it and drops it to the floor and end of show.
That's what really sticks out the most to me was the ending and I'm hoping it would refresh some of your minds if you have indeed seen it as well. It was so cool and I thought it was real which made me scared to death when it was over. More then likely it was fake, but thinking back on it... it was so great and kind of makes you wish it was real because then it would be proof that aliens do indeed exist. Yeah I'm a nutcase, the stories I could tell you.
I do believe in aliens and I feel that I've seen a UFO or two... because looking up at the night sky, there's somethings you can't explain. Especially 2 things in my mind that I'll never forget. Anyways, if you guys seen it... please tell me. If you believe in aliens... please tell me. If you know where I can find that "report"... yeah I think you know where I'm going.

Oh wow...I remember that. I saw it first about 15 years ago. It was obviously fake, but was still pretty cool and creepy. It was actually very well done considering it was done by armatures.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

so do you like the movie Fire in the Sky?
i loved that movie and i'm going to watch that link when i get home. i love aliens too, esp check popping ones that sing and dance on intersteller diner counter tops!

Yeah I love the movie Fire In The Sky... for a long time I couldn't watch it all the way through until fairly recently. I use to be so freaked out and fascinated by aliens. I found a short clip of a news report of the showing, but its not exactly how I remembered it. But its not completely the entire thing. I remember it being like an hour long. What they say, the birthday party/power outage and such is like I remember.

Never saw it, but then again I watch very little TV...
I don't mind to much when they make fake stories, its good entertainment, however that aside...
If there is anything out there, all these fake stories and staged events are going to make it harder for any serious investigators to do their job, I mean how do you convince someone to help you or fund you when there is so much fakery going on (if your rich then disregard this.)
Yeah keep up the entertainment and enjoy it, but realize it draws away serious investigation, and makes getting to the truth all that much harder, so go ahead make fake stories and call them real, blur the line then see who's going to believe you if you find the truth...
If the truth is out there, it's become so hidden by bull that finding it is getting to be harder and harder.
And FYI I do think there is much we don't know and that there is no such thing as impossible, just highly unlikely...

I agree with you Anachron, 100%. Don't screw around with the serious investigation or else it will become a huge joke... Even though it's being treated as such now, saddly enough.
