Veteran Rewards and other I8 Goodies

So, now that we've all had a chance to check out all of Veteran Rewards on test, what do you think, and what are you looking forward to most?

Personally, I was surprised by how the cool the trenchcoat was. I put one on my Hero (who really isn't a hero at all >.> ) and the effect was pretty sweet. I was also diggin' the shoulder cape mantles (the double shoulder ones, not the single shoulder vet reward one) and the government style glasses. I also heard that certain Dark powers have gotten a face lift, so I'm looking forward to that as well.

However it's not cool that they have taken away the double stacking of super leap for the Ninjas. So now Ninjas basically have one less power than every other type of pet now. I guess the devs realized that Ninjas were just too uber for their own good. Or not, considering they also gave all the pets a slightly increased speed, including the already fast Ninjas.

Also the new policy on changing your title is pretty sweet. And higher level longbow have been "rebalanced...to make them less frustrating" whatever that means. Pocket D is going to be a bit more fun too me thinks. Oh, and Super Speed looks pretty now. Yay.

I like the trenchcoats, but to be honest I think the wings look like crap.

I'm kinda upset they took away the flight stances, but they did it for good reasons so that is ok, and the increased RS on pets is cool.

What!?!? they took away the flight stances :( That was one was the things I was really looking forward to.

I like Trenchcoats, but the Angelic wings are actually a lot cooler than the demonic wings. The demon wings look all leathery. Do wings work when falling?

I can't actually wear the wings, but I seen them on a number of people on test, and read some stuff on the official forums, I do believe wings don't do anything when your falling. I don't like them.... well to be honest I think they seem just WAY to big, and they just look, i dunno, strange....

As for the stances, they got rid of them because of some problems they couldn't work out before I8 went live. Not sure what all the problems were though, sorry. Though if you haven't seen them, they are nothing to write home about, only one looked neat (the one with one arm forward, one curled). Two of them just looked like you were a retarded duck or something....

I like the camera to hover about 6-8 ft behind my toon and the wings tend to obstruct your view. In cave missions, I have to use 1st person view. I think I can deal with it, it's only going to be an MORE evil alternate form for my main toons!

Just in case some didn't get to see the flight poses, here are a couple of them:

there were more than this, but didn't feel like posting them all. There were also poses for when you straffe in mid flight as well. I can do without the poses, as long as I get my Trenchcoat and Wings. I already have my outfits all ready for when it hits live.
