| What is better? Stun or bitter freeze ray? |

Ok, my ice/energy blaster is kicking some major butt in Bloody Bay and Siren's. I have freeze ray, which oddly enough does work on some stalkers (when they try and run away after realizing I'm ganna waste 'em).
But what would be better to get at this point? Bitter freeze ray or stun? In PvE, which is better? Can I stun a boss with stun alone? I know it takes 2 holds to hold a boss - it is that way with a brute? It seems like stuns have a better chance of getting through then holds when it comes to PvP. I fight mostly with my melee attacks.

If your plan is to mezz foes, go for BFR. Slotted right and combined with FR, you'll be more likely to mezz that way. Pick up Power Boost ASAP, to seal the deal. Stun has a long animation, and on a squish, thats a bad thing. My brute has been killed during KO Blow's animation, and that is about the same length as Stun's. A Brute. With better dam res than a Blaster (/elec brute).
If stuns are your thing, at 38 you get Total Focus. Mag 3 stun (100%) with an 80% chance for an addition Mag 1 stun (basically, it'll stun your average boss, with an 80% chance to stun a boss with stun res). With Power Boost, it can be devastating, even against toons with mezz prot.
Now, personally, and by general consensus on the PvP sections of the official boards, the Freeze Rays and Stun are useless for pure PvP purposes. If you want an idea of what a solid PvP build, with nice PvE capability, let me know, and I'd be more than happy to post one up for you. I have one I've been slowly working on myself.

I have a fire fire, witch gives me nothing for a hold thats worth anything. I have Cold mastery. Witch I took Snow Storm, It seems to hold and slow pretty whell even brutes and scrapers. It also have -recharge. Is there anything In an epic that would trump this. Also you can't use a break free to get out. Unlike most holds...
For hold alone what is the best epic?
