For Sig Designers experienced or not..
AS most sig designers know the number one secret to a good signature is........ good quality and large images to start with.. yes LARGE images.. shrinking an image is much better than blowing it up for quality.. of course its not only the image that makes a sig great but for now it will do..
anyway i just wanted to share one of my secrets..
http://www.planetrenders.net has some awesome 3d generated models and renders, all ready cut out and ready to insert.. just become a member and u can view and download the "bigger" pictures ready for insertion into your signatures. i use this website alot as it has SO MANY images that i can experiment and always find somthing to fit my theme.
NOTE: most of these images have a transparent background meaning they are most likely in PNG format. this means they will open in Photoshop, Paintshop, Fireworks.. and other specialised programs but i am unsure about paint..
it may well open but the bg might be black/white/green.. (in ms paint)
Hope this helps users that already are great sig designers but also users that are starting out with PS..

Great start of a thread. Let me chirp in something as well. Unless you use your own screenshots, the image you plan to use has probably been made by somebody with a lot of love, dedication and time. And she/he has copyright on it. Even if it does not have a © on it. The original artist will probably never know you used her/his art, and in most cases probably doesn't mind either. Espcially since none of us use our siganture for commercial use. But if you know the artist of the image you used, add a link to it.

good point, its always nice to give acknowledgements if you can.. i know i would be happy if someone used my art in their own but would be annoyed if they said it was their own work..
just for reference everything on here is free.. its a free image/render site or so it says on the home page....

I have a great pic and this is a great thread, but i can't find anyone or anything to help me in my problem. I want to add my pic to my sig how do you do it?!
