Ok for the past 2 or so months, i have not been able to play GW cause im saving up for a new processor for my gaming computer...i cant play it on this laptop just cause its not compatable....I find it near impossible to gain credit just through forum posting and helping within the forums...i cant submit guides due to my lack of screen shots and i also cannot do screenshots or wallpapers for credit. Im i doing something wrong in the forums? ive been stuck at 173 for a long time. Any advice?

Help people + u dont need screenies for guides or u take screenies that other people hve taken and post all screens u have taken :P

TBH Credit doesnt matter on the forum. Yes i admit people look out for people with high credit but all in all it doesnt matter.

Yeah I know but its kinda a goal for me to get higher credit. Ive also heard that it unlocks new areas in the website. Is that true?

i'll have to disagree with Travis, credit IMHO is a status symbol. but just be helpful, i got 40 credit just by making sigs for people.

What Travis speaks is the truth. ^^ Credit is nothing but a number. :) It doesn't matter how much credit you have. If your a new member or old member. Anybody here can help anybody, new or old. ^^

yes it does. once you get to lvl 10(i think) you have the abilty to give negative cred.

I personally look at credit as how helpful I am, hence why I like to see my credit go up. Out of the top 20 members, I am in 20th, and the next 2 members above me have at least twice as many submission as I, and are less than 50 credit away from me.
As others have said, its nothing but a number. And the reason I dont look at it as a status symbol(that often at least) is because lots of people have most of their credit from submissions, not helping people. Sure guides can help, and often do, but not many people actually post guides.
That being said, I'm quit proud of how high I am on the ranks(excluding the admins), considering my relatively small amount of submissions(16 right now).
EDIT: Only 2 more till i'm at 1,337 :P

What about animated Screenshots like slideshow type ones. is there a special program to do that.. Yes ive seen mimoris guide..very nice gave it a 10 BUT i can never find worthy sig pictures of GW without the game haha.. im gonna see if my friend could just take screenshots of all my characters and e-mail them to me so i can make a slideshow of all my characters :-D

Another Question. If i rate other posters with high credit do i lose the chance of getting credit? cause i love rating other people who try to help as much as they can and im wondering if that affects me at all..? idk if you understand what im asking, rather complicated if you ask me

Being first or being last, doesn't matter. I would be helpful with or without credit. Even a member with 0 credit can be extremely helpful to people with high credit or no credit.

no if you rate someone elses post you still have teh chance of receiving cred from that person in the same post.
