ok, to start off, i've been farming SF for the past couple weeks or so in search of a serpent axe. i was praying that i would get good drops today, and i got kinda lucky. i opened a chest and saw that a max, req 11, purple crystalline dropped for me. the stats are not great at all, but it's a very cool feeling. here we go :).

what i did was hench the kilroy quest over and over.. just zone your heroes/henchman out of radar zone whenever a reward chest pops up and click the X on the radar to make them follow you again... but don't take the quest reward, you need to be able to do it over and over..
if you guys do decide to do this... good luck to you.. :)

Gratz, that will probably still sell for around 100k or so. Crystallines are ridiculous, and I have never seen one drop, though I haven't done much in SF, UW, or FoW. I figure I'll get a max damage gold req 7 inscriptionable crystalline sometime, be set for life.

Wow I wish the one that i found was max damage, cause they are obviously looked high upon. I found one when i was level farming mergoyles outside of Gates of Kyrta but obviously it was something like 12-18 or something dmg

Items outside of Elona are not inscribable, yet. So no, you couldn't mod the inscription.

Unless they changed it in an update, all of the SF quests are repeatable, which is nice.
Congrats on the crystaline :)

Well, technically it's a long sword with a crystalline skin. It's actually a decent 55ing weapon, since it has a HSR 5% on it. I have heard of people trying to sell it in ToA, advertising it as the first crystalline in the game, only 50k.

I had 2 crystallines so far..One golden and one purple one
Gained 600K just from those two swords
Both dropped for me from the lost strongbox in dreadnaught's drift..
But they nerved that box =(
It's no longer there =(
