Battle for Gameamp Supremacy

so when the gameamp alliance was first formed, everyone talked about how cool it would be to fight the villains.

well, i wanted to see who would be willing to show up for an ultimate galactic battle for gameamp supremacy in an arena match against the Inmates of Gameamp Asylym?

My thoughts are we try and organize it in about a months time, thus giving some people time to get their toons higher.

anyone have thoughts?

Great idea, I wondered about that myself Big. I could go for either side. Problem is we may have more 50s on Heroes vs the Villains. So unless there is some way to exemp levels then it may be a lil tough.

Have you posted on the Villains site?

not yet. i wanted to get a consensus here first. if we cant get any heroes to show up then why bother.

the main concern i have would be do we do it SG vs VG and only take those heroes in the groups? or do we take all players on triumph? or do we move to the test server so we can all have a hug fest together without server limitations.

Im not sure how the Test turn out would work. Alot of people cant download Test or just dont have interest to do it. We can try Triumph 1st and then if we get alot of people intereted see who would want to do it on Test (specifically ampers w/o higher level triumph characters).

With the Issue 8 update it can take place in Pocket D's arena where heros can fight villians and so forth. Though this limits it to one server. And in the arena you can set levels and you will either be sk'ed up or exemp'ed down like a PvP area.

Sounds like fun. My highest level toon on triumph is only 12 and not part of the SG, but I would love to get in on the action.

I'm in as soon as I can get back ingame. No internet right now, gonna get that fixed REAL quick, lol. I'd prefer to do it on the test server so Spiney can get into it (42 ATM), but I could do a 20ish match on Triumph with my Rad/Rad. I'll keep checking on this thread for more info.

I'm up for it. I've got a L40 villain or an L50 hero I can bring to the mix.

As I understand it, the Arena auto-exemps everyone anyway, doesn't it?

I would be up for this. I have about equal number of heroes and villains on Triumph so I can swing whichever way as needed.

The Arena *can* auto-exemp everyone. It depends on the match setup. You can set it for any level, or various "weights." We could set Arena matches by level based on whomever is going to be fighting at any given moment. I'd be more than happy to manage any Arena fighting we do on both Test and Live. Only problem is, as previously stated, I won't be able to get in the game for a currently unknown period of time. Once I'm able to get back in game, believe me, you all will know. Till then, I'll keep checking back, on my mother-in-law's comp most likely.

Interestingly enough, this is EXACTLY what my story is about...except not between ampers. And it's only me controlling what 24 characters are doing...very stressful to plan out one battle scene :-(

I'm sure we can get any toons in the battle royale no matter what lvl they are. i have a few low villains that i can square off with. my highest is 14.

I'd be up for giving this a go, my highest on Triumph is a 26 troller, but if they ever get the server transfer up I'd have a 35 Tank that would love to play!

Well I'll go but my highest toon of triumph is a 24 Arch Blaster, If we go to test I will have a 36 ready to fight.(If i have the patience to download it)

I would be up for it. Just need to level up my Scrapper on Triumph a lil. And if it goes to test well I already have a few people there ready and waiting. I am usually off on Saturday and Sunday nights so weekends would be best for me.
