| What version of photo shop is best for making signatures? |

I'm going to go buy photo shop to make some really cool signatures but I want to know what one is the best fo making signatures. So if you know please respond. Thank you, Talon

It really doesn't matter that much from version 7 onwards, the differences are minor.
I used all from version 5 and I'd say either one of Photoshop 7, Photoshop 8 (CS) and Photoshop 9 (CS2) are pretty much equal.

You're going to spend money on Photoshop... ouch - ofc I got mine all legally though /yeahright :P
CS2 is the most recent, and I find it has a few improvements over photoshop 7 that are really great, although nothing major.
I have a flannel to wash my face
if it gets mucky i feel disgraced.

Well if you are just starting to make graphics I would recommend Paint Shop Pro, its not as good as Photoshop but it only cost like $50 instead of $500.

Personally, I think Lord of Death's advice is valid. If you only want PhotoShop for creating sigs, it seems like a waste of money. I mean, for the cost of the program, you could buy a new, top-of-the-line, video card. I'd weigh the options carefully if I was you.
If you do decide to go that route, if you're a student, see if they offer a student or educational discount.
