The aftermath of an Update 

OK, now i dunno whether anyone noticed but about this time after issue 7 came out people were screaming for the ritual sacrifice of at least one CoX programmer. This was due to bugs, glitches and the 'occasional' crash.

This time however.. nada! does anyone else feel like the powers that be need a big pat on the back for a successful update?

The only real problems I have notices are operator errors (mine included) That and the usual "Oh, gee NEW ISSUE" lag.
As if CoV needs anymore lag issues. But no real update issues. Everything went very nicely.

No. Unless the whole Global chat thing resetting itself everytime I zone is on my end. I can't even chat on Global while I'm in a Safeguard mission.

Yeah there's the whole usual major lag after the Issue that has been released, and I'm fine with that... I've made my peace with lag.

Yeah, globals have gone wonkey again. I'm having the same problem. Unfortunately, that's one thing people don't test well on the test server.

On Tuesday, we'll hang the lawyers. That leaves Thursdays open for programmers. =grin=

Actually, other than the fact I still have the sound loop bug they supposely fixed months ago, the game has been playing pretty good on my Laptop.

oh no ampers! i found a big bug!

last night in the PI safeguard mission, path and myself saved the bank and were on the defuse bomb side mission. when we were attacking several villains, they were suddenly sucked off of the map like they were tied to a big string and yanked suddenly. it was pretty cool to watch, but we failed the side mission because of it.

also, what is with the disappearing arachnos and carnies is radio missions?! they have been disappearing like knives of artemis style. the only good thing i've noticed is when i switch on glacial armor, i can see them so its not that big of a deal.

Credit and kudos for all they do well, but it's so much more pleasing to gripe about the things they don't:

Could they fix the trains already? Also, what kind of city doesn't have different metro lines meet at a single station? Power customization! (enhancements are ok, but what about the look and effect of powers?) How about some more realistic missions? I'd love to see an office building with a loading dock and garage on the lowest level, an entry way and reception area, cubicles in the middle, and nice offices on top. Oh and windows that look outside would be nice.

*clears throat*

- No ice in the Frostfire mission. We airskate.
- Superiour lag.
- Too many wings/trenchcoats (I blame players for that)
- CoV just crashes. It was laggy, now it's horrible and unplayable for me.
- Keep losing global chat all the time.

Oh, and Big? You cant see them becuase they use Smoke Grenade, and glacial armor has +perception

i figured it was some kind of power like that because i could pick them up with my glacial armor. i just wasnt sure what or how they were doing it.
