as Christmas dawns upon us, I am going to get a graphics card to play more often on my comp. I was wondering if anybody new what type of card they have,where they got it, and how much it cost. (with my budget of $80) so, if you could help, thanks!
(would help since i've never had a lvl 20, not enough time playing to make one...)

I currently use a PCI Radeon 9250 256 MB. It is a rather old card, but it does GW great. :) Though I will be upgrading my PC soon. xD

Well we probably need to know more about your computer and the resources (RAM, CPU, ...). Also, do you need an AGP card, or can you use PCI-E. Stuff like that. Also, you may want to search google on graphics cards that were specifically tested on guildwars. This is always good info when trying to decide which card to get!

Man, I really regret that impulse buy now. I bought that same card like three weeks ago on Amazon for 80 bucks, because it's on bestbuy.com for like 100. I figured I was getting a good deal. Should have asked around, but I so wanted to continue playing Nightfall.

well, i got lucky with my card cuz i had just gotten Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and my comp couldnt run it i use a brand new AGP<--(letterz may bewrong lol) x1900 series card....i got it on sale at best buy for like $100 marked down from like $350...btw, if yur budget is only like $80 i suggest u get an AGP<--(letterz?) x1300 series...your budget will fit it and it runz GW GrEaT!! problem is, if yur gonna get a newer card you may have to get a new power supply for yur comp as well... unless yur comp is like under 1yr old, then you should be fine

It really depends on what kind of card you need, if you need a PCI Express, then you're lucky, they tend to run cheaper these days. Here are some nice cards...
