I was thinking the Gameamp should go xFire.xFire is a Online Chatting system, made pacificly for Online Gamers.
Gameamp can talk while playing games;we can set up our Screenames kinda like these:
(Ex.)Gameamp-Variety
GA-Variety
I'd like to hear your opinion on it!
Thanks!

And WoW.... lol.
I keep running into this topic. :-P
Anyway, it might be a good idea I think for the game that don't natively support any kind of chat feature that can be used to accomplish the same thing.

That might be kind of interesting if Gameamp had a kind of global chat that you could chat with other people while they're playing other games. You know, kinda like XBox live, only not.

It is just so hard to regulate a chat room. The reason we haven't set one of those or an IRC up is because the big job of moderating. It is something that would have to be attended 24/7 if we were to make it an official GameAmp thing, and honestly we don't have the staff for something like that.
But it does sound like a nice feature for people to use if they enjoy chatting. We just can't make an official GameAmp thing out of it.

Kind of a bit off topic but I wonder if Rupture is gonna be similar to xfire, anyone have any info on it? Its been pretty hush-hush.
| QUOTE | Napster founder Shawn Fanning is about to launch another new project in the social networking space: Rupture is a social site for online gamers that has already raised seed money from investors including Joi Ito and Ron Conway. More specifically, the plan is to focus on building a social network around World of Warcraft.

If not an x-fire-esque site, the way the above reads its gonna be more like a WoWspace.
