| Question about Rooted/Granite |

I note that the description for Granite Armor says that "Cannot be active at the same time as other armors in this set." Since Rooted is not necessarily an "Armor", my question is:
Can Rooted and Granite be on at the same time?
There are 2 reasons I ask this:
1) The resistance to End Drain could be very useful when fighting Malta.
2) I could've sworn I saw a tank with Granite and Rooted on at the same time once. It was more than a year ago though so I could be mistaken.

Yes, you can run both at the same time. You will be slow as molasses though, which is why many stone tanks get TP.

Yes, you can run both, and as said before, you're going no where fast, unless you have a Kinetics defender/controller with you. With both running, you can shrug off Sappers, and pretty much anything else. Just becareful with psionics enemies tho, they'll get thru that without hesitation.

Yeah teleporting is the best way around it as the ol kinetic man aitr always around (unless you befriend one)or mega slot swift
I hear with granite you get such a defence boost that even your attack drops a little?

In other words, find a Kinetics (preferably Defender so they have Fulcrum Shift as 32 when you get Granite). Speed Boost is your friend. Fulcrum Shift is everyone's friend.

One thing that is possibly over looked, when granited why run to them? get someone with tp foe bring then to right infront of you and pound away, and then again if you take SS you get rage which overcomes the -dmg attribute

You say get someone to TP them to you, but as far as I've noticed there are only very very few people taking TP foe.
It's easier to just go to the enemies yourself.

TP foe is only good for PvP or for those runners that manage to get away from the group. I find it much better to just TP into the middle of a mob, hit taunt, then do Foot Stomp to make sure everything knows I'm there, and are mad at ME. I use Hasten to help overcome -recharge, and Rage does help a little with the -dmg, but I only rely on Granite for those missions where I'm tanking something thats a few lvls above me. Its mainly an OS armor for me.
