I Really need help with this mission. I tried alot of times but could not Beat it, and also Im a warrior :P noone takes warriors. I wait and wait for a group after about 20 mins i finally gt a random group that never gets far at all.

I've found a warrior with a hammer and lots of knock down skills makes gate of madness a lot easier, Backbreaker is a good one to have. Shiro spends most of his time on his arse.

Why do people think this mission is so hard. I did it second time with my Dervish, and there was only one other guy with me, and our heros.
...Unless they have made it harder since i did it, cos i did it a few days after Nightfall was released.

I'd be willing to help, although the only charecter I have that far is my Dervish. I have beaten it several times with him though, and I could supply any heros except Razah if necessary. Send me a whisper if you see me online, my charecter names are in my sig.

Alright I just did this mission yesterday and got Masters. So here's how I did it:
You fight your way to the Temple (easier said than done, but this isn't the hard part yet). After you get there you kill the Lich, he goes down quickly enough. Next you have your dervish (me) distract Shiro while the other 7 go and take back the Alters. Now you are wondering how one single dervish distracts Shiro without getting himself served up as sushi? it's easy. All that is required is an Earth build with an Earth (Ebon) Scythe. Here's how it goes:
Scythe - 12 + 1 + 2 = 15
Earth - 12 + 1 = 13
Mysticism - 3 (leftover points)
LightBringers Gaze
Conviction (stance)
Vital Boon (enchant)
Lyssa's Assault
Victorious Sweep
Ebon Dust Aura (E) (enchant)
Mystic Regeneration (enchant)
Res Spell (signet or spell)
Basically you cast conviction (it's instant b/c it's a stance) then Ebon Dust Aura then use Lyssa's Assault to blind him. This build hinges on an Ebon Scythe though, so I recommend buying a mod or farming for Brubahl's Grasp. You can buy it pretty cheap b/c everyone thinks it sucks, but I'm here to tell you it's more useful than people give it credit. He's stays blinded for about 4-6 seconds so you have time to cast Vital Boon and Mystic Regeneration. Then you continue using your two attack skills to keep him blinded. Let your enchants actually run out before renewing them to keep your energy up. And I KNOW this works b/c this is what I did yesterday.
Now to kill Shiro it takes a LONG while. But I recommend a necro with Spoil Victor b/c shiro attacks really fast and SV takes off 105 health @ Blood - 16 for each attack he makes. Other than that, keep Shiro in the big central room and Kite around wacking him. Oh yeah, RUN AWAY when Shiro uses Impossible Odds, he will kill you INCREADIBLY quickly regardless of your armor level if you don't. And that's it.

Most Groups use this Tactic with a Stance Tank and a Monk to distrct Shiro, but this is just as easy and doesn't take as many party members away from the group.

I don't know if you've ever fought Shiro, but he actually can't be knocked down. I'm going by my own experience trying a knockdown warrior in Imperial Sanctum as well as what it says on guildwiki.

well i finished gate of madness with my warrior and heroes masters reward
here's my teambuild
me w/n - with spoil victo + wild blow (wild blow shiro after battle scar) (u can use cold weapon for spinal shivers)
olias n/me - ss, infeebling blood, spinal shivers, reckless haste, rest is mesmer energy management
margrid the sly r/mo - barrage, distracting shot, savage shot, charm animal, comfort animal, antidote signet, troll unguent, rebirth (she's wielding a cold bow for olias' spinal shivers)
tahlkora mo/me - healer (i use mantra of resolve at 10 inspiration for energy management)
